This is my second Broil King grill . The Baron model is built with quality materials, heavy and well made. The light up controls were definitely unique, but the best thing is the Infrared Side Burner, perfect for searing steaks.

I've had this grill for one year now, and I use it during the heat of summer and cold of winter. It is a reliable machine and solidly built. The only issue I've had is if the wind hits it just right the flame will blow out. Outside of that no issues whatsoever and I've been really happy with this purchase. I wanted a grill that wasn't a throw-away-in-two-years purchase and that is exactly what I got.

I had my grill for 2years and the igniter went out on it. I have had my grill now for a total of about six and a half years and it is about due for me to relace the whole thing. They say it is warranties for 10 years. I keep it covered and it still rusted out way too quick.

Love this BBQ, except the infrared side burner pilot won't shut off after the burner is going. The side of the fry pan gets covered with black smoke, and cant get it off the side.

This grill heats up quickly and gets hot. There is a learning curve to manage the heat. Once managed this grill exceptionally sears all cuts and evenly grills to perfection. For my daughters wedding I grilled a turkey. It was top tier full of flavour including a smoke ring within the meat. She and the guests were delighted.

After a lifetime of going through cheap BBQs this one is so solid a build. I'm thinking it may be the last one I have to purchase. Sorry BroilKing! I purchased a few extra bits and pieces that I figured would take the brunt of the wear & tear along with a few accessories. My model isn't the top of the line but it is a truly well built unit. The side burner is a bonus... just plop the steak on it for 30 seconds a side to sear it, then into the BBQ for a totally controlled, evenly balanced broil. Easy cleanup. Nice work, BroilKing!

I bought this grill last spring. When it was delivered the vendor noticed that it needed two parts under warranty - a caster and an ignition wire for the side burner. It's almost a year now and he still hasn't gotten replacements. Other than that, it's a great grill and I used it almost ever night last summer.

The IR is great for searing. I didn't think I need it but now I realized I'm wrong. IR is the best thing about the grill. The right burner will not fully light up. I removed the burner to adjust the opening and it works fine after.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
