I've owned my rifer 900 for a few years now and I love it ! It is my go to grill, highly recommend
This is a nice grill when it works. I have been trying to get an igniter for it for the last 5 or 6 months under warranty is ridiculous. Every time I call I get the same answer it is out of stock. Instead of putting you on a list for back orders they just tell you it's out of stock and call back in a few weeks. You would think if it is a warranty item there would be some way to have that on a list to fill when orders come in. There has to be a better way to take care of your customers than telling them to call back every couple weeks.
Constant ER2 error message! New ignition placed, still never works! Horrible trainwreck of a grill! We have a lemon and OK Joes will not stand behind it!

My husband and I had the Rider DLX 1200 Pellet Grill. Worked great until it didn't! Since October 2024 while still under warranty we have made several phone calls for a part we are told we need to only be told it's on back order and we would have to call back! No pre order or putting us on a list so of course every time we call back you guess it it's on back order again! April customer support was guy was going to keep track and let me know as I told him how frustrating this is! Heard nothing! The grill will start then cuts off throws the breaker! We have made sure nothing with the breaker is the problem. Wasted food that couldn't be grilled! We purchaded September 2023! I do no understand why support can not help us! No one has reached out so why I'm making this post! Maybe someone will reach out and help get this grill working we paid a lot for and can't use! I'm not seeing they stand behind their product!
The unit worked flawlessly for the first five or six uses. However, during one use, I found the grill had powered off unexpectedly. Upon inspection, I discovered that the power cord and connector had melted. I contacted your customer service team via phone, and they were kind enough to send me a replacement power cord. After installing the new cord, I plugged in the unit and saw the power indicator light on the front panel illuminate. Assuming everything was functioning normally, I covered the grill and left it for later use. About a month later, when I went to use it again, the power indicator was still illuminated. I pressed the temperature control knob to set the temperature—and immediately, the circuit breaker tripped. Frustrated, I took additional steps to rule out power supply issues. This grill is connected to a dedicated 20A circuit, so I replaced the GFCI breaker with a new 20A receptacle. Unfortunately, the same issue occurred: as soon as I press the temperature knob to activate heating, the breaker trips again. At that point, I set the unit aside out of frustration. Now that summer is here, I've revisited the issue. I opened the unit and inspected the internals. I didn't find any obvious damage to the PCB—no burn marks, no smell, no signs of a short—and the unit's internal fuse remains intact. Clearly, something is malfunctioning, but it's not obvious what. This grill was a significant investment, and it's disheartening that it only worked reliably for a short period.

I purchased this grill due to open flame restrictions in my community. It looks nice, is a good size, and fit my needs. However, within 5 uses, it stopped working all together. I have been on the phone with customer service a few times now and they agreed it is faulty and recommend a replacement part, but cannot send me the part because it is out of stock. They aren't even 100% sure this will fix it, but this part has been out of stock for months and they have no clue when it will be available again. This has been a disappointing purchase that I regret and will make sure to not purchase a Char-Broil grill again. It's really poor quality and no solutions for the issues with their faulty products.

I love this grill because I live in an apartment and cannot have butane or charcoal. This is the best electric grill that I have had so far! It cooks from the inside out very thoroughly and I love the fact that it has a fuse and can go up to 700°. The temperature control is perfect. The self cleaning keeps it clean. Great for barbecues!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
