 | This is MASSIVEOk so I definitely thought that this was going to be way smaller than it is. I saw that they sell a grill top of this so it can be a one-stop for grilling but thought "who would grill like one hot dog at a time?" | Time SaverI have been using the chimney of insanity when I go camping or at home BBQs. It is perfect because it is so much faster than having to wait for the coals to heat up. I like to use brown paper bags as my fuel source and lump coal. The best part is no nasty flavor from using lighter fluid when using a chimney. I only recently discovered using a chimney and wish I had long ago. It is so much faster and safer. I can load up my chimney and have hot white coals in about 15 minutes and never have to use lighter fluid. This Chimney is large enough that I don't have to do a second load. If you have never used a Chimney give this one a try you will never go back to using lighter fluid. | Next LevelWe put this chimney thru its paces this weekend and were not disappointed! Getting coal started was a breeze, no lighter fluid required, and the coals were hot and ready in a matter of minutes. The XL size is really nice when you want to get a big grill session started. Later we used the chimney with the grill top accessory for a quick sear on a sous vide brisket and it worked like a charm.. Insane direct heat just torched the meat in no time. | Chimney of Chimneys!Hands down - the Chimney of Insanity XL is Awesome! I've been grilling and hosting BBQs for decades and nothing is more frustrating than waiting for charcoal to light when I'm ready to cook. This "monster sized" chimney does take 2 hands but it makes filling the grill quick and easy. Just put some paper, twigs, cardboard - you name it - in the bottom as well as in the side port & fill the container with charcoal briquettes. Light it up and in minutes the charcoal is glowing. The side port allows me to put more flammables in if needed and is a huge plus. With 2 hands, dump it into the BBQ and put the steaks on the grill. As a bonus, given its size, it could be taken on the go with a small grill on top, and used to make a quick burger. Would love to have had this when I was a scout! | Perfect for lighting charcoalsThis is perfect for lighting my charcoals fast so that I can get to cooking quickly plus it holds a ridiculous amount so all you need is one container full for most grills. I don't like using chemicals to light my coals so this really is a life saver for me.
