The hopper doesn't have a good enough angle on the inside to feed the pellets to the auger creating a hole from the top of the hopper to the auger with pellets stacked up around the edges causing the smoker to shut down if you don't constantly check it - other than that it's a great smoker

There was a QA issue with an exposed/smashed wire that fried the control board (issue with initial assembly - so FYI they dont do a final QA on these things before they get to you). LG sent me a non-wifi board to get me by and also sent me a new wifi board so now I have a backup in case something goes wrong. I was initially not happy given the price tag and the circumstance but this smoker/grill is awesome and will recommend it (grill grate is game changing, overall quality is better than a Traeger, best looking smoker on the market). Note: Support is not that technically helpful, but its do-able if you are somewhat technically competent and you will have a great smoker/grill.

This is a marginal at best smoker. It takes close to 30 minutes to get it started while it climbs to 350+ degrees even though set at 180 or 200. "If" you can get it back down it does not hold the temp. It will hold it for an hour or two and then it goes sky high and cant keep itself at set temp. I would NOT recommend this product or this manufacturer !

Purchased with high hopes. I have now found out it's not a good smoker. It will not go below 225 degrees or hold temp. I need it to go to the advertised 180 to really slow smoke. After buying I read many reviews that talk about just ditching this grill all together for the same issue. I should have read them before buying.

I've been using this grill for a month or so now... was very easy to setup; you'll need a helper to attach the cart. It seems very durable and well made. I like the design and look of the black label display. The wifi control is game changer. Makes this thing so versatile! I can be at work and crank up the temp to finish off a brisket for dinner! The temp sensors and recipe function are nice too. Overall I'm extremely pleased, all my food has been coming out amazing! Endless possibilities...

Hi Ted. Most pellet grills make great smokers. However, this Louisiana Grill has the ability to directly access a direct flame, making it great for searing.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
