This is a great stove. However, with the surround the heat factor isn't as strong. I would recommend purchasing the heat deflector in order to get any kind of warmth unless you want to stand the whole time close by it. In my opinion that defeats the purpose of it.

My wife surprised me with the Yukon Solo Stove for Christmas this year. I have wanted one for a very long time. Let me tell you what, the quality of this product is bar-none just the right kind of heavy, sturdy, clean and nice. But let me tell you what, light up that first Fire, get it nice and hot, and watch your backyard fire turn in to something NEW. When they say smokeless they mean it, you gotta get it nice and hot to ensure this part but that's the point of a fire right?! Here was the part I liked most, I anticipated being disappointed I could t see the wood burning like I'm use to because it's enclosed, however the way the airflow works and is filtered through the pit, the fire burns taller and way more enjoyable. And once that 2nd burn kicks in you'll be fixated on it. 10/10 would recommend.

You can just tell the quality and engineering with all the components. I purchased the Yukon along with the surround and the fit and finish is unlike what you expect to find in an outdoor fire pit. I'm sold on their products and will soon be purchasing the Mesa Torches to further compliment the backyard!

Smokeless pretty quick and great heat, so our Christmas party guests enjoyed it all evening! We mounted it on the old stand to keep off the deck and it worked great!

Got one as a surprise Christmas gift. Only issue is why aren't these including a cover for when not in use? Looks like this was a 400 dollar purchase. Surely a cover could have been included for that price.

This stove actually works! I got this solo stove for my parents for Christmas and got to enjoy it on Christmas night. It was so much more enjoyable to be able to huddle around the fire and not worry about smoke being a problem. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Literally, everything about this stove is amazing. We gave these as gifts to our parents and in-laws. Let's just say, solid hit. We got them the Mulberry color option and, it, too was perfect. It's a nice deep red color, rather than with a purple hue. Lastly, I had to contact customer service in the beginning for one minor issue (a promo item never came). Customer service literally made the whole situation right in about five minutes and we received the item NEXT DAY. I literally almost had tears, because they made the process so easy and care-free. The quality is good, the reputation is good, Solo stoves are GOOD! They are fireeee!! Just get one.

I love fire. I've always had some sort of a fire pit. I've had a cowboy kettle for a long time. When I got married, my wife whom has asthma, hated being around smoke, and also didn't like the smell of wood smoke on my clothes. She purchased this for me for Christmas. We've had a fire every night, and for the first time in our 2 year marriage, she actually sits with me and enjoys the fire every night! The smokeless technology of the solo stove literally brought our marriage to new heights.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
