Bonfire 22 Inch Round Stainless Steel Wood-Burning Fire Pit in Stainless Steel by Solo Stove

We love staying warm outside in the winter and not smelling of smoke. Not only is it easy to light and maintain, it's aesthetically pleasing. We ordered the dark blue and it looks wonderful with our patio. Everyone should have a solo stove for the fall and winter!

I was hesitant to believe the hype about solo stoves and went back and forth on buying one for about a year. I worried about little things like whether it would rust, if I would actually use it, and having a fire on my porch (I have a townhome with lots of neighbors). I'm so glad I finally made the decision to go for it and get one. Set up was super easy. From unpacking (shipping was fast and flawless) to a raging fire took about 15 mins. I used some kindling, one fire starter and some birch wood. The results were amazing. Got a beautiful secondary burn after about 25 mins. I've never been great at lighting a fire, but this was very easy. Brought my wife and 7&5 year olds out by the fire and told stories about Christmas when I was a kid. It was a great time and the fire kept us warm on a chilly northeast November night. I've had 5 more burns since then. Once for Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve while we entertained, and although my back porch isn't that big, it made for a perfect setting where people loved gathering around. I also love sitting by it and reading on my kindle and having a drink or two. Recently I bought the pellet adapter for wood pellets. What a game changer. Dumping in a 40lb bag of pellets, 3 fire starters, and a clean worry free burn that lasts about 2.5-3 hours. I did this mainly for safety because sometimes a lot would pop and an ember would fly out at me or my kids. I didn't want to drop the money on a shield, and the pellets are cheap and easy to store. Cleanup is really easy. There's barely any ash after a burn and I just dump it in the garden. I bought the lid, which is a great addition. I love my solo stove and you will too!

Got this so that we could have more outdoor time in the dark of winter. It is so light and portable! It cools down quickly once the fire is out, so it's easy to put it in the carrying bag and move inside once we're done for the night. It's light enough that I have no trouble putting it up on a waist-high shelf in the shed. And truly, it is way less smoky than a more traditional fire pit!

Love how lightweight this fire pit is, plus the carrying bag makes is so easy to take on the go!

My birthday is in December and I decided to buy myself a Bonfire 2.0 along with the pizza oven attachment, Pi Fire. On my birthday I used the bonfire with family and they all loved it! Lots of heat on a very cold day!
