I had a basic Blackstone for several years before deciding to upgrade. We decided on the cabinet model with a side burner. From the first time I used it the side trays got so hot that they could not be used while cooking. I just dismissed it as maybe I had forgotten how hot they got, but I didn't remember my first blackstone having that issue. After two years of this I lit the griddle to cook one evening and walked into the house to get the meat while it was heating up. When I walked back outside the griddle was completely engulfed in flames. My husband works in the propane business so he got the fire out on the griddle and managed to get the propane bottle off. The hose had melted so the bottle continued to burn. I contacted Blackstone and sent pictures of the griddle, inside and out and haven't received a determination from them on whether the grill was defective or whether they would warranty it. I always loved cooking on the original Blackstone but this has left me hesitant to purchase a new one. Also kind of sore with myself for spending so much money on a product that didn't even last 2 years,

Assembly was easy. All the pieces fit good. The only thing I don't like is the opening in the back. I would prefer to have the whole back sealed off. This would help keep the critters out. I seasoned the griddle as recommended. It is easy to cook and clean up. I am very satisfied.

Pretty awesome. If you are not handy, get ready to ask for some help putting it together! (i'm handy, no issues but use your power driver or your wrist will get a workout). Made some smash burgers, and it get hot enough to get a great crust. Cooktop seems of high quality and seasoned well after the break-in. Only nit-pick is that the top seems a little flimsy, and the handle is plastic...I'd be willing to spend a bit more money for that quality-like heavy feel...again, that's a nit pick.

The lid is cheap, you have to be careful with it. Grill top and burners are great. Blackstone also had a deal going when I purchased my Blackstone and they did not honor it.

I have nothing bad to say about my Blackstone. Very happy! It took me about an hour and a half to assemble. It was delivered faster than expected( About a week). I actually assembled it, seasoned it several times and cooked my first meal on it within 3 or 4 hours.

Love my blackstone but the fact that it took me 30 minutes to remove the sticky advertisement on the cover is frustrating, why do companies do this?

Really happy with our new XL Rangetop Combo, accessories and cover. Easy to put together. It has brought a variety of ways to extent kitchen to outdoors during the summer.

Works really well so far. Very pleased overall and enjoying it. My only nits are the open back and the sticker residue left on the lid we can seem to get off without scratching it. Lots of goo gone and gentle scrubbing has gotten most of it off, but it's still visible.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
