Solo Stove Bonfire 19 1/2-Inch Wood Burning Fire Pit & Stand - SSBON-SD

We bought our Solo Stove and love it!!! It brings our family together more!!!

A great product. Read all the reviews and checked the competitors. Went with the Bonfire. It's better than advertised. And best of all you can walk in the house not smelling like smoke.

We have had out 30" Yukon for six months now. What a great addition to our backyard. Easy to use and clean. The marshmallows and Smores have been excellent. All the adults and kids love it. A great way to keep the family occupied. Now that the weather has turned cold here in the northeast, it is nice to have a source of warmth while sitting outdoors. I recommend this product highly. If you let the fire die down to red hot embers and put a grill top on the pit you will get some of the best grilled meats ever!

Pros: very stylish, well built, nice carry case, very easy to get fire started and very appealing looking and efficient burn. Cons: expensive, does not radiate heat horizontally (may actually be a pro for some buyers) If you are live in a cold climate and are looking for this to provide warmth at a campfire or backyard bonfire, just know that due to the design it does not radiate heat out horizontally compared to open pit designs. If you sit rather close or stand up around the bonfire the heat is quite good, but sitting back a few feet in a chair you will be cold. Tested this in 46f evening bonfire and my wife had to creep very close to the fire to stay warm, or stand up next to it to get the heat that is mostly going straight up. All that said, that makes this an ideal device for year-round campfires as it's not going to be so hot that you can't enjoy it. I also give points for impressive design, it works just as they describe with airflow coming up from the bottom, very efficient burn with almost zero debris after burndown, nearly zero smoke (if you don't overload it with wood). Note: it does discolor after the 1st burn (which is noted in the instructions). It's not unappealing, but it does turn a sort of gold/bronze color on the outside and top edges. extra points for a very nice high quality carry case they include...which they sort of underplay in the product description. All in all I would purchase again.

Before you buy look at the Tiki Brand Fire pit. It is better looking and has a tray to remove ash. There is not way to remove the ash in the Solo except to turn upside down and if any moisture gets in it will cake up the ash.

The quality of the Solo Stoves is worth every penny. We purchased the Solo Stove Bonfire with the additional bottom spacer ring. We burn raging fires in ours, on our wood deck ... no problems what so ever. No heat marks of any type. Will smoke momentarily when starting a fire ... once established, the fires are smokeless. We have had six people enjoying the earth the Bonfire puts out, in fairly cold weather. They will burn some timber, but that is due to the efficiency of the wood burn due to design. What a fire pit!!! Once you experience the quality of this product, along with its spectacular burn ... you'll be very happy with your purchase!!! We recommend them to friends and family. Even my skeptical brother that initially thought it was way too expensive, now loves it and raves about everything Solo Stove Bonfire.

Bought a ranger in February 2019 for date night with my wife ,literally burned a Hole in the top ash catch. We burn it out because we really use it 4 time a month 5 hour a night and within 6 month it was done ,showed the my pit and a Brand new one one shipped in two days for Friday night. Great customer service . Thanks for the memories.pit works as advertised and burns wood to ash with hardly any smoke .

I purchase the Bon Fire Stove. It is great!! I have used it the last two weekends since It arrived. We are Campers and this stove is fantastic. It is easy to start a fire without lighter fluid and as advertised there is very little smoke except for the first few minutes that you start the fire. I have never been able to start a campfire without smelling like a campfire. The stove is awesome!!

I read a lot of reviews before purchasing my Solo Bonfire snd wasn't disappointed! Great fire, puts out s lot of heat, and the main reason I bought- so little smoke! Love it!!

Bought this after looking at what was available at the typical big home improvement stores and department stores. The quality of Solo Stove is far above what the others offered. I was concerned that the Bonfire would be too small but I really like the size. The fire itself is awesome and lives up to the claims. Looking forward to more fires this summer.
