I bought the free standing smoker a year ago. I mainly bought it due to it being able to grill as well as smoke. In the grill mode, the grilling surface is small. I've owned a couple of Traegers and for the money, are easier to use and do an excellent job at a fraction of the cost.

This grill works like a pellet grill should, but you're purchasing this grill for the wifi connection - choose a different grill. This grill does not stay connected to wifi. Every time you start the grill up, you need to reconnect to wifi and although I have gotten good at this process, it still takes me 15 to 20 minutes to do. You have to take the back cover off to push a button and reset the wifi card. I have tried everything (even purchased a new router) and have come to the conclusion it an issue with the grill's hardware. Memphis grill was not very help in finding a solution. Very disappointing. There are too many options in the market to pick this grill.

Be aware that the BBQ puts out A LOT of smoke. We got a complaint from our neighbor the 2nd day we used it. Overall, love the flavor, but extremely disappointed in the control panel. Still cannot connect to WIFI (the iPhone app seems newer than the documentation), and I can't get any support from Memphis Grills. Have to unplug the BBQ regularly as the control panel won't power on at times and sometimes freezes on cool down. For the price, I expect A LOT more given that we've had the BBQ for 1 month.

We purchased this drop in model for an outdoor kitchen and have drawers below and to the sides of the grill unit. As I mentioned, we would give the grill itself 10 stars if we could. The unit is exactly as it claims and works even better than any grill we have ever owned. The only problem - and is a big one - is the venting design for the hot air. The vents are on the sides of the grill and along the back. It is a protective measure to prevent the cabinets from scorching. The vents lay flush with the countertop and the cover from Memphis Grills does not cover the vents. Needless to say, all three drawers below the grill are filled with water after every rain. This design needs to be changed! So, if your grill is in a very protected area that does not get wet, I would recommend it highly. However, if it should get wet, you shouldn't plan on any storage below or to the sides of the unit.

I chose the Memphis because I wanted a solid pellet grill that is built to last for many years in my outdoor kitchen. The grill looks great and has been a great choice for me to be able to smoke food for hours on end, without having to hover over a smoker.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
