Bought the insulation blanket so that I can keep smoking through the cold midwest winter. It delivered on the first 10 hour brisket cook with temps down in the single digits, the Traeger stayed just under 215-220F when set at 225F. Did better at 250F to finish with outside temps near 30F. All in all a worthwhile purchase. The small piece that attaches in front on under the lid, did fine.

I've had this blanket for 6 years. I live in northern Missouri, so the need for this accessory is a must in the winter months. It is easy to install, helps maintain consistent heat, and reduces the use of pellets during cold temperatures. It is well made. I kept the original box it came in, to store it during the warm months. It still looks like new. They key to the blanket longevity is to regularly clean out the ash, store grill indoors, away from moisture, and use it only during cold temperatures. I just finished a 5 hour smoke/grill of a whole, 18lb. Turkey, using the Traeger Turkey/Brine kit. It turned out awesome!!

This fits great and is just what I needed to use my smoker when the temps dropped. Just remember to remove it when the outside temps rise above about 40 degrees or your cook temp exceeds 350 degrees. Love it.

I had a blanket that I used for almost 6 years. It held up great over that time, but I decided to replace it because of it's appearance. I have had 2 in a row now that the bottom piece has fallen apart at the hooks on the first use. I've seen other posts about the same issue. I know it is not user error as I stated I had one for almost 6 years with no issues and took it off every summer. Has anyone been figured out what could be causing this other than user error?

Just as the previous reviewer showed in the picture the cover is prone to burn up the attachment hooks. I had two burn up in the same manner. The Customer Service lady Edita was very helpful. I had the same type cover for over 6 years and never had a problem. However the "Warranty Denier Team" decided it was operator error... So much for the Traeger Warranty program.

In the cold winters of Utah this is amazing at regulating grill temperature (preventing dips and peaks) and using less pellets during your cook! Definitely recommend.

If you have a 34 inch Traeger and live in a place that it snows, you need one of these. The only problem is, you really need to remove it in the summer because it retains heat too well. I was getting flame outs.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
