cons first because there's less of them

Cons: The upper grate seems like an after thought, its pretty useless and just plain flimsy. also there are infarct some hot spots on the grill, mainly closer to the back panel, not insane but prominent enough to likely get worse of over time. Pros: It gets hot, fast, and steaks love this cast iron wavy grate... especially since i cook 3-4in. thick steaks on this thing. so far seems to be pretty gas efficient, but I'm still a trainee on Gas grills (need a quick fix vs charcoal). the build quality is very good, the catch, the whole thing, i love it though its made in PRC (cmon Napoleon)

If you grill a lot, this is your grill.

High quality grill. Will last a lifetime. Metal will not rust out like the cheap grills.

Great little BBQ

Got the Rouge 425 natural gas model for my birthday this year, and I'm a lucky guy! It is a very well designed BBQ and very good quality materials that you would expect from Napoleon. It was simple to put together (it took about 2 hours and no more tools than a screwdriver). Very solid construction and every surface is either rustproofed or stainless steel. The burner ignition is a sparker on each knob that activates like a gas stove when you turn it on, very simple and effective but also convenient as no messing around pressing a button or changing batteries etc. The grill got up over 700F within 10 minutes when I was burning it off for first time use. The grill gets really hot and even though its only a 3 burner it has 5 heat baffles that distribute the flame heat very evenly over the grill surface. I got the warming stone for the top rack and the pizza stone for making pizza and it does an awesome job for that. I found it easy to adjust the temperature to hold at what ever temp I needed with the lid closed. I also got the griddle plate which sits over half of the grill (you don't need to remove the bottom grill as the grill plate bottom grooves sit in the grill grooves to hold it perfectly in place). The griddle plate is great for frying onions in beer, eggs and bacon, whatever you want that would otherwise fall thru the grill. I find burgers cook well on the griddle too. The natural gas version included the supply hose and 3/8" quick connect valve so once the gas pipe was installed making the connection was simple. I've had a few other grills before this one and the quality is noticeably better with the Napoleon product. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good quality innovative design. Considering that, and the 15 year warranty, the price wasn't bad either.

Control knob breaks after one year use!!!

I bought my Rogue 425 with the infrared burner last summer and one of the big control knob broke couple weeks ago after only one summer use!!! It looks like the inside melted with the heat....?!?! Tried to put fix it with glue but it didn't work and is certainly not acceptable......

The inside melted & broke the plastic

Rogue 425 Natural Gas

I purchased this BBQ last year and I am not at all happy with it. My really old Napoleon was still working when I gave it away but in hind sight, I should have kept it. This new BBQ is not consistent with cooking on different locations on the grill. One day, the right side will cook okay and the next day, it doesnt cook very well at all and the left side turns out to be a better option. I cannot for the life of me, figure out what is going on. I think I just have a defective BBQ as I do see other reviews and owners are actually happy with the same model. I will most likely recycle it and purchase my first non napoleon BBQ and be done with it. So dissappointing after all that money spent.

Best Grill Ever

I've had this grill now for 4 years and love everything about it. It cooks evenly. Not one speck of rust anywhere. The customer service has been amazing. I have added accessories to it such as the rotisserie kit as well as the basket and upped my grilling game. After going through grills every 2-3 years from rust, I did research for months before deciding on this one. I decided to spend the money on a grill that would actually last for once and it was the best decision I ever made. I've recommended them to everyone I know.

Shipping & Returns

Free Shipping on orders over $49

Ship your entire order to your home for free, especially the big stuff!

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
