have a weber spirit, tried the universal fits all rotisseries, none actually fit the grill right. decided to spend a little extra money to get the right one from weber., so glad I did. fits perfect and have used it on chickens, pork loins and eye of round. very well built product
This is my second Weber rotisserie. The first was for a Genesis grill that I had for a long time. In general, the new rotisseries works well. The offset tine lengths are an improvement over the older model, the motor easily turns the rotisserie rod even with heavier food loads. However, there are two problems. First, for whatever reason, Weber went from a wooden handle to a steel handle and also reduced the diameter of the steel handle. This makes it harder to hold the rod in a particular orientation when loaded. In addition, the steel handle gets hot enough so that it is uncomfortable to touch. Weber should go back to the larger-diameter wooden handle. The second problem, which is fairly serious, is that it is impossible in my experience to tighten the tine assemblies to the rod without using a tool. The eyebolts simply do not grip the rod with sufficient force to keep the tines from rotating when the rotisserie is in operation. The eyebolts need to end in points that can grip the rod securely.
Decent design but the drive motor does not stay engaged with the spit. There's too much play in the right side groove. The spit continually moves to the right when operating causing it to come out of the drive. Unless you stand there and constantly push it back in you'll come back to find half of your chicken burned. I'm going to try to modify it but honestly for this much it should just work. Additionally there's not enough room to spin a five pound chicken and have the catch pan under the meat admittedly that's more of a limitation of the grill size.

I bought this rotisserie at true value about a yr ago used for the first time today turns about 1/2 in then nothing gears slipping piece of .... cooking in stove now thanks Weber might have thrown 5 $20 Bill's out the car window
So very happy with this! I have some limited strength in my hands. As a result of my poor tightening of a connection joint of the skewer, the chicken was lopsided and weight and balance caused the spit not to rotate completely. However we turned it off, unplugged and with the aid of heavy duty grilling gloves tightened the connection and success! My only comment in design would be to make the cord much longer (ten feet) as I had to move the grill closer to our outdoor power source. That was a feat as our grill is connected to our whole house LP via plumber installed gas line. I had to buy an outdoor extension cord with 12g (after reading the instructions for minimum 16g requirement of extension cord) as the remedy.
This product met exceeded my expectations; I am grilling like a chef.
Upon receiving realized it was heavier duty than cheaper brands. Easy assembly and worked great. Best chicken yet on grill.
I just used this product for the first time yesterday I cooked a 7lb chicken and it worked great. I knew in advance that I had to remove the grates on my Spirit 2 So I had no issues

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
