Mounted in a partially shaded area. Working well for past month or so. Would recommend, but the warranty registration process and what is covers is lacking. Very confusing.

We have it mounted on the house so when we are on our deck we can enjoy it, We cover it with a Covermate brand cover and it is under cover as well. The picture quality is very good. The remote takes time to get use to as it is different from our other Samsung remotes.

Asked by Lori | Answered by Joey, BBQGuys ExpertLori, We have had our TV for a year now and we've been very happy with it. We live in Southern California, so I think I know what you're worried about. I have our TV mounted on a north facing wall, so it does not get some light from the sides at certain times of the day. To be honest it has not been a real issue. For the most part we're not out there with the TV on until the afternoon. One suggestion, get a good wall mounting bracket (I got mine at Best Buy) that pulls away from the wall so you can point the TV in a specific direction and tilt the TV down/up slightly. That seems to help us minimize some of the slight sun issue we have. Also, get a good cover that can fully seal the TV during the winter or when not in use for a few days. Living in the desert you don't want dust to get to the TV. Hope this helps. Good luck. Mark

Asked by Vicki | Answered by sschantz04086The TV is mountable but does not come with any hardware for wall mounting. I ended up purchasing a Kanto full motion wall mount from Best Buy. It came with all the hardware needed and it was a fairly easy job to mount the TV on the wall. The TV does come with legs if you were going to put it atop a table. Hope this helps. PS… I've been very happy with the TV..
Asked by Vicki | Answered by melrose223Hi Jewels. "Advanced Refresh Rate" is a proprietary technology that Samsung uses to simulate a higher refresh rate. In practice, this works fine more or less, but the actual refresh rate is technically 60 Hz.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
