I really appreciate Traeger's different Rubs. I cannot imagine putting a Chicken or Cornish Hen into my NuWave Rotisserie Oven without a healthy coating of their Chicken Rub. It is fantastic.

Great seasoning. I generally don't prefer sweet on grilled chicken. It was good though. But I had some zucchini spears But I brushed with extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle with a little garlic salt. I coated them liberally with this chicken rub and then grilled them until I got grill marks. Wow! so crunchy and sweet and spicy!

While I mix many of my rubs for meats this is a great one for Chicken. I also have and use the Pork and Poultry mix and I alternate between it and using this Chicken on. Easy to use and really flavors the meat. Like other Traeger spices you can really use this on just about anything you want, it's another Traeger winner, and I use a lot of them.

From reading other reviews, there are fans of the old and new chicken spice. We are the former... Please bring back the original spice, even better, sell it in bigger bottles. If you want to save distribution costs, only sell it online, but MAKE IT AVAILABLE AGAIN!!

My family adores this rub. There are many many good rubs out their for poultry, but for simple, no extras, this one is the best. It may be higher in sodium than some may like, but wow! The taste is great!

I received this rub when I bought my Traeger Ironwood 650. I used it on chicken and it is simply a bottle of salt. The chicken came out way too salty. I would have expected more from a seasoning from Traeger. I am actually throwing this seasoning away. I had to throw away a sauce that I used on beef ribs also because it was too much sugar and not enough spice.

I usually make my own rubs but this came with the Traeger so we tried it. Wow this was salty. I won't be buying this one. Are all the rubs overly salty?

The old Chicken Rub had exceptional flavor. A little salty but when combined with sweetness of beer can chickens, it was perfect. The old rub also crisped up the skin of the chicken, eliminated some of the fat and brought out the flavor. My greatest frustration with Traeger has been the elimination of the old Chicken Rub. My favorite item to cook on my Traeger was Beer Can Chickens with the old Chicken Rub. I did land 6 small shakers of old rub but that will run out someday. Clearly there is an interest in the old product. My suggestion is sell both the old & new Chicken Rubs. I suspect the old will sell well.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
