This is every grill masters dream. It literally gives you a read in a minute or two. It has an auto setting where it turns on and off when the probe is opened to use. There is a light on it that helps see when you are grilling at night or when it starts to get dark out. The color itself is awesome and there is a built-in magnet so I can either place it on the fridge or the grill so I don't lose it. The handle fits comfortably and seems like decent quality. Very good value and definitely a must have. I am color blind so I have to have something like this since I cannot tell simply by cutting a steak or burger open. Also beneficial to reduce risk of food poisoning by having the food cooked at the proper temperature. Must have for everyone!

For some reasons all my the thermometers I've used just never seem to be consistent, until this one! I've used it 5 or so times and I can always count on it to give an accurate temperature reading.

This thermometer is very user friendly and takes away the guess-work when it comes to cooking meat. I like that it's waterproof because I don't have to worry about ruining it by cleaning it.

This isn't your typical electronic thermometer you find at a local store. This is a high quality product. Gives a live instant reading with a nice bright backlight when you need it. It's even waterproof! Nicely done.

The thermometer is a must have for all grill masters. It is easy to use and has an auto on/off when you flip the probe in or out. I also like that is has a back light for the display which really helps at night.

I am grilling all the time and was wanting an upgrade for the thermometer I have been using. This thermometer is amazing! It's so quick and easy to read. I especially like that opening the probe turns it on and off. Has a high temperature capacity. I do grill in the rain and it's great that it's waterproof. Temperature is nearly instant. Min/ Max temp hold and Fahrenheit or Celsius choice. A wonderful product and colorful!

It truly is the perfect grilling thermometer. It is extremely fast and accurate. Since it is waterproof right after using it I wash it with soap and water without a worry. I definitely would recommend this to others.

This device is a combination of virtually every feature you could imagine, all packaged in a neat, easy to handle and easy to store design. Best parts? Readout appears immediately upon opening the probe, comes with a simple on/off light (ideal for the nighttime bbq), can be read in Fahrenheit or Celsius and turns off automatically after 10 mins (to save battery life). Built in magnet allows you to leave it places (stuck to a fridge e.g.) where you'll always be able to find it! Great little device..

Hi Ricky! To calibrate the temperature, take a cup of ice-water from the fridge, insert the probe into ice-water to touch the ice (make sure the probe touches the ice under water) when get the final temperature, hold down the CAL key for 5 seconds. After 5 seconds, the display will flash CALL on the screen, then flash the digit. Use the C/F key to increase the digit or the HOLD key to decrease the digit until you reach 0 degrees C or 32 degrees F. After several seconds the display will show again the reading.
