Napoleon Grill Mat for Large Grills - 68002

I have been using it from day one and I have been very happy it. It really makes the logo light really stand out.

I am enjoying the Grill Mat. I have rolled it out in front of my Napoleon grill, and it blends in nicely with the surrounding are. 2 of my neighbors complemented it on how it looks and inquired about it. I like it in front my cooking area because it makes clean up from drippings (i.e. food, marinades, sauces, etc.) much easier than staining my patio pavers.

This grill mat is great to complement my grill. Not only does it give the area an elegant look, but it also perfectly protects the floor from grease, sparks, or any spills. The material is durable, non-slip, and very easy to clean, which makes keeping everything spotless really simple. I love how it fits the size of the grill, covering the entire cooking area without getting in the way of the wheels. It adds safety, durability, and also a professional finish to the space. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to protect their deck or patio while giving their grilling station an extra touch of style.

I couldn't be happier with my grill mat! It fits perfectly under my grill and gives me total peace of mind knowing my brick paver patio is safe from grease stains. I've owned my Prestige 665 for about 3 years after using other grilling products for over 50 years and I have to say I'm so glad I made the brand switch. One of the reasons is Napoleon's commitment to quality products and accessories. I was recently asked to review the Grill Mat, something I hadn't thought of buying when I purchased my grill which is set up on my painted pool deck. Stains and heat have always been a mild concern but never a pressing issue. When the mat first arrived I was suitably impressed by the weight of the package as I knew it was made of heavy duty materials. The mat makes it easy to roll the grill onto and is easy to clean and care for with any degreaser and paper towels. I have no fear of damaging my deck . I would highly recommend this mat for anyone with a wooden deck or painted one like mine. As you can see in the photo there is ample mat coverage beyond grill footprint.

Note: I did receive this grill mat as part of a test program but the opinions here are mine only. Hunting for generic grill mats that worked for the 600 series grills was pretty rough. This mat fits great, with just enough room beyond the side shelves and in front (though my wife wishes there were a couple more inches in front). It looks great with the subtle diamond plate pattern and is pretty rugged from I can tell so far. (It's pretty heavy).

As a product reviewer, Napolean sent me this grill mat to evaluate for free. I have the Prestige 665 grill with side and rear sear burners. The mat is more than ample in size, and I had extra room to roll my serving cart onto the mat as well. It looks great and easier to clean any spills than on the flagstone. While it is a heavy-duty mat, rolling over flagstone the mat tried to knurl when grill wheels hit a flagstone edge that was not flush. If you have a completely flat and smooth surface, the grill should just roll smoothly over the mat. If you have an uneven surface like me, you will need to exercise extra care when moving the grill across the mat. I created a small tear before I realized the wheel housing was stuck on a mat knurl. I suggest having a person stand on the end of mat to keep from shifting and making sure wheels are pointed in correct direction before moving the grill. My wheels may not have smooth rolling, not having moved the grill in years. Hindsight, I would spray the wheels with WD40 first and roll grill back and forth while not on the mat. In summary, the grill mat is a great addition to my grill space aesthetically and functionally. I am hoping this will also reduce ants that seem to come up from between flagstones.

I received this mat the other day. I was surprised by the thickness of the material. The backing material is made to make it less likely to slide on the surface. This mat is 90" L x 35" W. It is a good size for my Prestige 5 burner grill.

Perfect for placing my grill on. Anything that drips down is easily cleaned off this Mat. I've kept it out year round in Northeast weather with no degradation.
