I usually grill into the twilight hours of the evening after work. This light exceeded my expectations. When I inspected the light source, minimal LED, I was concerned that it would not light the whole grill surface. I was surprised to find that it did and with an appropriate amount of light. I like that the "mount" screws to itself around the lid handle and you can remove the light source and take it inside when not needed. All and all I am glad that I purchased.

I bought this 4 months ago. The light is great but as others have described, the bracket is failing on the side opposite of the screws. The prior style of light had excellent brackets, but the lights were not waterproof. This light is waterproof, but the bracket design is poor.

I am seeing the exact same issues as the previous reviewer. The light itself is great, the tilt sensor works well, and it's plenty of light to illuminate the my Genesis grill. The mounting bracket has multiple issues. First off, if you tighten it enough so that it won't slide or rotate on the grill handle, the clips that hold it together (opposite the screws) are under extreme duress and the bracket starts to open up at that point. I expect it will fail when it gets brittle in the winter here in CO. Second, also as stated, the clip that is supposed to latch w/the light to hold it in place does not engage very well. It seems like it would be easy to accidentally knock the light off of the bracket as it is not held very securely. Finally, I am using the Weber cover for my grill, and the light protrudes quite a lot from the handle, stretching the cover and making it a bit of a pain to put the cover on the grill. I worry that this may cause extra wear on the seams, and where the light pushes against the cover, and shorten the life of the cover. It also doesn't look as nice as it does w/out the light in place. Bottom line, a grill light is a really handy feature and I really want to love it, but I just can't. Debating whether to keep it and see what happens, or return it and just use a headlamp or something else.

Like all of our accessories, this part has a 2-year warranty, should anything happen. We recommend slding the light off of the bracket to remove it before placing the cover on your grill. The light itself is excellent. The mount does not securely hold the light. I need to be careful not to knock the light off the mount. The plastic "lock" on the mount does not engage the notch in the light.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
