This thing is horrible. I had it maybe 5 months and it stopped working. Within a month it started not to give the right temperature. I did the whole calibration thing when I bought it and again once I saw the readings were off. If it breaks don't bother spending the money to get a new one. There are many reviews here with same issue. I thought it was me or something I did. I keep the grill indoors and covered. Shouldn't of gone bad so quick

I purchased my Ironwood 650 1 year ago and now just purchased a Silverton 620 for camping. I love my Traeger but my only complain would be the meat probe. It stopped working after 2 months old. I have called customer service and they told me that it needed to be calibrated. I have tried the ice water calibration 8 times with no success.

While mine lasted longer than a bunch of reviews on here (year and a half) and was outside the stated warranty, it's still a junk probe. The temps were never actually accurate anyway and have been mainly using my Thermoworks Smoke setup instead. I didn't intend on writing a review when I got on the site to see about warranty/replacement, and see that everyone else has the same complaint and will not be buying a replacement.

Sucks when half your features can't be used because of a piece of junk probe that's never instock. Grills a year old, probe broke 3 months in and they are never instock. Guess why that's why they come in a 2 pack cause they know they aren't any good.

That is what I have heard… chatted about an issue with meat probe, they had me call someone in customer support. He said to place the order on the website. Now, it looks like the part is back ordered. Geez … please get your act together.

Love our Traeger but after one year it seems the probe has pooped out.

Cooked the first time with my smoker. Loved it. However, the probe snapped. They sent another without any question. Second time I used it after receiving the new probe again it snapped. Worst part of the smoker.

Garbage probes. Definitely the weak spot of the system. They only last about 20 hrs or so then they start with the problems. It will send alarms saying it fell out, when it's good. I recommend buying something completely separate until they figure out how to make a prob last more then a couple smokes.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
