Added Timberline 1300 Conveniences
There's no shortage of food prep convenience with a stainless steel side shelf with BBQ tool hooks, a full-length stainless steel front shelf, and a magnetic bamboo cutting board that stores above the pellet hopper. The Timberline 1300 is a current model in the Traeger lineup! They have introduced the upgraded Timberline XL, but it doesn't replace the 1300.

How do you ignite a Traeger Timberline 1300?
The Traeger Turbotemp handles this. When you press the IGNITE button, the ignition and preheat cycle begin. In the unlikely event the mechanism fails, you can light the grill manually using the included instructions.
How hot will a Traeger Timberline 1300 get?

This is not a bbq pit, this is like a air fryer and oven had a baby. 0 smoke flavor, will not get hot enough to sear anything. Even in cast iron with oil

I bought this grill about 6 months ago and use it about every 2 weeks. Within a couple months, The wifi stopped working which led to a flame out overnight without alerting me as it's supposed to. The temperature control knob wouldn't work correctly for adjusting temperature. They reluctantly sent us a new control panel which was a nightmare to replace because my hands are not tiny like a 3 year old. Then the first time I ever turned the temp up to 400F, the paint peeled off of the bottom and back of the grill. Now, mind you I meticulously clean the grill as the user manual outlines every single time that I use the grill. Customer service won't honor their warranty. I spent a month's salary on this garbage that didn't make it through the first summer.

I own a lil Tex for the last 13 years and use it at least 6 times a month regardless of weather and live in the Sierras above 4300' elevation. It is obvious that the Traeger engineers have listened to input from their customers. Many additions even as simple as the start is much easier, and to my surprise there is a "cold temperature start" for when it is colder outside. Built in shut down feature is a nice touch as well. Using the super smoke feature allows me to impart good smoke flavor in chicken much quicker than my "lil Tex that could" and run the temps up to finish it out saving me time and pellets. In 25 degree weather I set it to 500 C and it achieved the temperature allowing me to sear my steaks in the middle of the last snow storm. Double wall insulation also helps with temperature control and holds within 5 degrees or so even with large ambient swings. WiFi APP is acceptable, but make sure you have a dedicated 2.4 as it will not run on 5. 2 negatives that I have for the app are 1) for a big smoker why is there only one meat probe? 2) When running off THE meat probe and setting the probe goal temperature; once the probe hits the temp there is no audible or visual alarm setting that I can find. Only indicators other than the goal temperature dropping to 0 and of course the probe temperature itself.

Absolutely amazing grills. This is our 2nd one.
I've had nothing but problems with the Timberline 1300 since I bought it. The grease trap is a nightmare and requires a tilt motion to empty which spills the grease everywhere. The heating element just completely stopped working after 12 months. What a joke. Additionally, Traeger censors the reviews such that total honestly is impossible.

I always check reviews before making a purchase on anything. So to my much surprise when checking the reviews. I found that any complaint that was made on this product was answered by support. Due to this simple fact I will be purchasing one of these grill. Never have I seen a company answer hardly any reviews. To see the company answer and be so willing to help real good keep up the good work.

Hello I have a Pro 34 and the auger weld snapped off from the stainless steel rod attached to the motor and a LEr error happened. This grill is still new, used 5-6 times.Due to work this grill sat in the box new for some time and I am sure the warranty is expired. I will not drop any more money into this grill.I think I will look into getting a higher end grill . The pro 34 must be a budget style.

This is like my 2yr review love it..i have cooked everything on it pizza ..red beans..ribs..pork loin..brisket.. this grill has never had a bad start up..holds temperature well even in them 19 degree days..now when its that cold i smoke at 225 only..the only problem i have ever had is 2 things..1st is my control board was funny on day one..my super smoke don't seem right as the fan runs and shuts down i know it should slow but it stops plus it does same thing off super smoke..i have never call in about it ..but i am today. 2nd.. i have to say is petty the stainless steel racks should be a tighter fit you can't pull out the rack without it falling..but i love how well it holds up..for 1.5 years i moved this beast in and out ..it rolls well.. i do not over clean this grill..i brush off the racks and scrap the grease..vacuum it every 2 to 4 cooks..dump grease tray as needed..i will be doing a youtube soon my 1300 vs other grills..i know it will be fun

Nice smoker! Best brisket and ribs came out of this grill!
I have owned the Timberline 850 for over a year and loved it. I'm upgrading for the Timberline 1300. I've been cooking on Traeger's for over 5 years and you can't ruin food on it. Everything is juicy and never dry. The WiFi makes it even easier and the double steel helps hold temp better. I wasn't a fool before I had a Traeger and now I can't live without one. Love it !
