Traeger Timberline 1300 FAQ
Is the Traeger Timberline 1300 discontinued?
The Timberline 1300 is a current model in the Traeger lineup! They have introduced the upgraded Timberline XL, but it doesn't replace the 1300.
How big is the Traeger Timberline 1300?
The cooking grid is 34 x 16. The overall grill dimensions are 58 wide, 28 deep, and 51 high. The grill weighs in at 238 lbs.

The Traeger Turbotemp handles this. When you press the IGNITE button, the ignition and preheat cycle begin. In the unlikely event the mechanism fails, you can light the grill manually using the included instructions.
How hot will a Traeger Timberline 1300 get?
The Timberline 1300 will reach temperatures of 500 degrees Fahrenheit. This is enough heat to properly grill steaks. And of course, the Timberline 1300 can also operate as low as 165 degrees to give you the perfect range for low and slow smoking.
How can you use a Traeger Timberline 1300?
To paraphrase Bubba Gump, you can grill on it, you can smoke on it, you can sear on it, you can bake on it, you can roast on it, and you can braise on it.

I bought my Treager about 2 years ago and use it weekly. It has never let me down! Wish I could say that about my Pit Boss...

I bought the most expensive Traeger grill only to have the paint start peeling off of it and customer service says I need to go buy sand paper and Hi-temp paint and fix it myself. What happened to Quality Control? Why make a grill that will go to 500 degrees when the paint is not rated at least the same? Very upsetting that a company like Traeger uses an inferior paint to save money. You have been warned.

This grill's freakin' amazing. It was a big pain in the butt to connect to wifi (which you don't have to do), but I've used it almost every day since then because I just can't get enough of literally everything cooked on it. Beef, pork, chicken, fish, lobster, vegetables, fruits. You name it, it tastes better smoked.

I give it a 10….a MF 10! Love everything about it. They really knocked it out of the park with the timberline. From seared moose loin to slow smoked salmon. The timberline makes any man a legend.

Such a great grill, I love how hot it gets so you can get a great sear when you want. The capacity is second to none, it holds so much allowing you to cook for large parties and family gatherings. This so well built and heavy duty that I know it will last as long as I want until I get my next Traeger. The app works great and definitely recommend the Traeger recipes. A+, kudos Traeger!

The timberline 1300 is the best smoker I've ever had.
Love my new smoker and graduated to the 1300 I have two flaws that I hope Trager will address one on all its products I wish they all had a handle to move the grill around to pull or push I know mine does not and will not use the shelf's to pull or push need to address that and the WiFi Peace you need to contact you need to take off the bottom cover your fingers do not fit to connect but other than that I love it buy it !!!

Been considering changing from a gas grill to an electric pellet smoker grill for a few years now. Finally made the decision on Saturday and it has been a pleasant surprise.Traeger along with the app set me up for success and I have already cooked ribs, chicken quarters, and salmon. A taste and experience the entire family enjoyed. Thank you!

Bought this yesterday used it for some light cooking. Liked the super smoke feature like the even heating and very spacious cooking area back draft exhaust is definitely the future of smokers. So the biggest problem I have with this grill is the finishing on the stainless steel part's. It's atrocious and for what I paid that's just unacceptable and makes me think if they couldn't bother with proper finishing techniques where else have they cut corners on this smoker. And I found it this Smoker is only tack welded no complete welds they sealed it with RTV and mine already leaks out of the box from a corner of the barrel. I will either return this and buy a Yoder. Or maybe fix traeger's mistakes.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
