Traeger Timberline 1300 FAQ
Is the Traeger Timberline 1300 discontinued?
The Timberline 1300 is a current model in the Traeger lineup! They have introduced the upgraded Timberline XL, but it doesn't replace the 1300.
How big is the Traeger Timberline 1300?
The cooking grid is 34 x 16. The overall grill dimensions are 58 wide, 28 deep, and 51 high. The grill weighs in at 238 lbs.

Customer Reviews
Observations: 1. Your front tray is useless - Extend it another 4-6" or fit for purpose 2. Turn pellet top and wood board sideways so functional 3. Look at second grill grate from bottom - if left inside cannot turn food from bottom grill grate 4. When Super Smoke is turned on leave words on screen - "Super Smoke On" 5. Fix heat seals under hood and around grill better - Snaps come loose too much 6. Make WiFI easier - Why 2G and not normal house WIFI? Hassle to align up 7. Your accessories need some work - Spatula is good but tongs are way to stiff - Really not functional as designed 8. Fix placement of grease bucket - To get out you always spill grease - Straight in and straight out no need to tilt to get out 9. Hire design people who ask questions as if "they" we cooking - Not a bad idea

This smoker cooks so much better than my old treager. It was hard to swallow the price. But it was definitely worth it.
I got my smoker a lil over a month ago 350lb to say it's well built is an understatement. Got everything together and did the first burn in everything going smooth. Decided to hook up WiFi and this is where It goes south. Get the newest update installed and boom stops working. Tried hooking up to two different devices with no luck. Not a big deal it's a know issue it'll get taken care of quickly right...wrong. Called support and after an hr on the phone trying everything it still doesn't work no Big deal they'll send a new one out. It's been over 4 weeks and haven't received anything so I call back and apparently the first guy didn't write notes so now we have to go through everything again to make sure it's not working. I work out of town and I'm only home a week at a time some now it's going to be at least another month before I fully get to enjoy this expansion smoker. So in short if you want a well built smoker it's worth It but if you want It for the wifi I'd reconsider.

This is an awesome pellet grill- nicknamed The Beast! My only problem was the gasket corner was messed up on delivery and needs to be replaced!
Best investment I've ever made! Makes great food and the Wifire tech is awesome!

I really liked it, easy to use, easy to cook, great taste of food..... I would buy again
The quality of this grill is the highest that I have seen. I am a contractor and have seen all brands/types of grills place in the summer kitchens and none have compared to the Timberline 1300.The body is solid and stable. The grates are heavy and well made. Assembly was almost seamless...due to the weight, I would definitely suggest an extra helper. The interface is self intuitive and easy to use. Up to date, I have smoke a meatloaf (directly on rack), (2) Boston Butts and ribeyes (smoked and then reverse seared). All have turned out perfect, the meat loaf was a first for me and honestly it was the best meat loaf I have ever tasted. The pork had a great flavor and pulled with ease. The steaks had the perfect amount of smoke and were exceptionally tender. The reverse sear worked well on the steaks. This grill will reach a temp of 500+ degrees, which was my only real concern about ordering this type of grill. I would recommend this grill to anyone looking for the perfect all-around high quality smoker/grill.

Just got my timberline to upgrade from a pro series. Love the grill except for the wifire. Cannot get my grill to connect and from reviews I've read it's a common problem. Hope you guys fix this issue.

This product is exactly as advertised. This is no starter pack! The Timberline 1300 is a heavy duty cooking machine. I use all types of smokers from stick offset trailers to the Timberline 1300. From the couple of times that I have used the Timberline, I can say it is the most accurate, well cooking machine that I own.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
