I bought this unit a year ago and I still can't get the Bluetooth feature to work properly and the temp probes are out of whack and can't get the to communicate with my phone. Not much point in having a Bluetooth feature if if doesn't work. Very disappointed in this product
I bought this 6 months ago and haven't been able to use it because the pellet auger keeps jamming! The warranty department is good though, just frustrating that it didn't work like new from the start but hopefully after I get the new auger motor, the problem will be fixed!
Great grill but lots of manufacturing default. Needed to change the fan, the electronic panel and still waiting for the door panel to be change as it is not closing tightly.
junk do not buy. hot stick quit working at week old. auger plugs up if you leave any pellets in it. buy a recteq grill.
Bought the smoker and it never was able to set on the temperature I wanted. Instead of replacing the grill I was sent parts with no instructions on how to replace anything. There are multiple wires that need to be disconnected and reconnected, and even then there is no guarantee that the smoker would work for the first time. Pretty terrible from a manufacture and customer service aspect. Would recommend going with a different brand.

To replace the hot rod in your Broil King Pellet Grill: https://youtu.be/2HNvT6EFDk4 For the controller, the instructions depend on which model of Regal Pellet Smoker 400 you have. For 2020 models with a service panel on the SIDE of the hopper, watch this video: https://youtu.be/E9_gIGhvxhw. For 2019 models with a service panel on the BOTTOM of the hopper, watch this video: https://youtu.be/7Rs-nnakxl8. As for the wires, there is a guide on the back of your controller that shows which wires go with which. We hope this helps! Bought this two years ago, have had nothing but problems with it. Service call came once and replaced a few parts only to have the same thing happen. Lost temp again last night in the middle of a cook RUINED chicken for 6 people.

Easy to use hold temp really well highly recommend
The grill is extremely well built for the price. But I cannot give it 5 stars because the app on your phone for controlling it is horrendous!!! Temps are way off compared to phone doesn't work when setting from phone. List goes on useless app. If they can fix it then it's 5 stars, cast grates are nice love the flip for grill marks and flip to other site for basting channels. And just very heavy sturdy grill.
I have had the Regal 500 Pro for a month now. It won't go any lower than 254 deg. F. I have changed the controller, temp probe and the fan. Customer service keeps sending parts that don't fix the problem. I am am really frustrated after the amount of money I spent on this thing.

I bought this unit in 2019. I have loved it up until today when I realized that the welds on the brackets on the inside that hold up the shelves are starting to detach from the cook box sides. Broil king has a certain standard of product and this is not it. I was quite surprised to see an issue like this happen. I keep this thing pristinely clean with pride and this definitely saddened me to see this starting. what else is going to start going wrong is the big question. not too impressed. well see how they deal with my warranty claim.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
