I bought this smoker and while its a beautiful smoker that works wonders, the app has never worked and now that its trying to force a firmware update that it cant do because of wifi issues, i cant use the app at all. If your buying for the app than turn away!

I got this Pellet grill over 3 months ago and I have become addicted to this thing. I have 4 forms of grill/bbq's and i use this everyday for everything and nothing else. It does it all...smoke , braise, bake and IT GRILLS! i got the temp to over 600 degrees and it stayed there. I grill burgers on this, effortlessly, no having to move them around due to grease fires. I baked a foccacia on this and WOW, what a flvour! Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to follow and all on my phone. Thanks kids for showing me how. Ya so i'm an old guy! I got the pellet grill and you don't....yet! Long live the grill ...oops the pellet grill! Great job Broil King!

I have owned 3 different pellet grills. One brand worked great but no wifi. Another brand had wifi but didnt keep proper temp so I decided to try this broil king pellet grill. I will say the quality is great and the features were exactly what i was looking for. I have cooked on this for about a month and it does a good job holding temp and over all works well. Their customer service has been good to deal with on a few questions i had. One issue I do have is it takes 30min+ for mine to get to 450° and if i go from 450-550 it takes about 20min. This is much slower then other pellet grills I have owned. Also a big disappointment was finding out after I purchased the grill that the app does not work on android. I think they should have released the grill once the app worked on all platforms. I am sure they will get it working for android i will just have to wait.

Really solid pellet grill, very user friendly and has produced some good meals so far! Only two flaws keep it from full marks: - the Broil King app is garbage, it asks me to turn the grill on when it is already on, can't adjust heat on it, doesn't detect probes, etc. - as one other review said, the heat doesn't seem very accurate, I set for ribs at 225, the temp got there and I put them on, few hours later they weren't even remotely cooked at all, which makes me wonder how accurate it is and if I don't have a defective grill. The pieces are all there for this grill to be a success, it just feels like it has some growing pains to work out first.

I just got mine(2019 model) last week. This thing is built like a tank, 300 shipping pounds with premium cover. Even after opening box and removing all the parts it was still in need of three people to turn over for assembly. We did it with two but it was a trick. No china junk here, even the screws come in a molded clam shell so you don't have to sort or cut out. Everything comes in a box or wrapped . The quality is top shelf, only one screw hole is tapped in the piece otherwise everything is done with nutserts(threaded inserts). The assembly instructions are perfect, didn't forget a thing and left the printing to a minimum. The lid alone feels like it weighs a 100 lbs. and it will sink in soft soil. Even the cover is heavy, I bought the premium version. One thing I noticed is that with the textured paint finish the packing foam leaves marks that have to be scrubbed out. So far I think I made the right choice over the well known brand. I wish more stores carried it so more could see it more.

As a long time BBQ fanatic,and co- host of a BBQ cable TV show, I'm completely impressed with the Smoke Pellet XL, having owned another brand, Broil King has blown away the competition. Bravo Broil King, it was worth the wait!

I've been using this grill for several months now and it takes grilling to the next level. This grill is solid and very sturdy. You will love the versatility of it, whether your doing a low and slow cook, searing steaks, or smoking some wings for the big game. The controller is very easy to use and has some preset temperatures ready to go for you, not to mention the built in temperature probes help to ensure your food comes out to the temperature you want! Overall, a fantastic grill.

I needed a 2nd smoker and decided to try the Broil King Pellet XL. I recently purchased another brand and wasn't satisfied with the overall performance so I decided to try the BK pellet and it's been fantastic! I love how quick it heats up, the consistency of temp, the cast iron cooking grates. I also want to give a huge shout out to the firepot ash release which allows me to start each session with a clean firepot without having to take the whole thing appart. I am really really impressed with the easy to use/read display AND YOU CAN PROPERLY SEAR & COOK STEAK!!!! This is something I have not been able to do with any Pellet unit in the past. Hats off to you Broil King for this quality product. So glad I was able to find a unit that does everything I want and I am able to support a local business at the same time!!

So impressed with this grill! Great low and slow cooking...but high heat true searing temperatures set this grill apart. Also really love the rotisserie function! The constructive quality, like my gas grill is everything I've come to expect from Broilking.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
