I purchased two Broil King products and the smoker is simply amazing especially with the app. The taste using the Broil King pellets are just as satisfying.

Bought this and it smokes food like a champion!!!! Beautiful craftsmanship compared to any other brand. The app to monitor and control it doesnt work on any android app. Beware!!! Not impressed with that especially when you are smoking somethong while at work.

This is the best pellet smoker I have used; they actually call it a pellet grill, I now know why. Performance- whether it be vegetables or ribs, low and slow or steaks at high heat and fast, this one does it all, with total control. You can tell someone was thinking about the cook when they designed this, Very easy to start, easy to use and read controls. The ash cleaning system and grease management are superior to anything I have seen or used. The heavy duty cast grids are awesome to cook on and easier to clean than I thought. This is a well made, well-designed unit, it's also super heavy duty, made with real steel and real stainless steel. Impressive and a joy to cook on. I am now using the Broil King pellets, they seem to burn cleaner and hotter than others, all natural with no fillers or oils added. For value and performance, I give it a 5 out of 5.

I have had the Pellet Regal 500 (formerly XL) for about a year now. Never used a pellet grill before but have lots of grilling experience in both gas and charcoal. This unit is everything you need in one package! First thing I cooked was a pork shoulder for pulled pork. Preheated the grill and set it for 225. Left it on for 12 hrs without even looking at it (I was actually out all day) and came home to a roast I could pull apart by hand..no need for forks. At this point I was hooked. I have done steak, amazing results and the grill temp reach 630F. The control panel is easy to use, and full of features...I love the pre-sets temps. The rotisserie is a great feature and let me tell you it WORKS!! I did a chicken on it and it was so succulent we had it again the next weekend! The pellets are great and flows through the auger very smoothly the odd time it makes a noise but nothing to worry about. Great flavour, The clean out agitator at the bottom of the burn pot is an AWESOME feature! Makes cleaning that much easier and quicker. The app is great and will most certainly get better as it evolves. I have the android app and the only issue I have is, when my phone goes to black screen (sleep) the app turns off. I have to re-open it. No big deal everything still remains there (timers and such) but would be nice to have it run in the background without re-opening it. All in all, this unit stands alone compared to the others, especially in durability, build and price point. Broil King did an outstanding job on this unit

So happy to have this pellet smoker as part of my arsenal. Nothing like slow smoking a brisket and searing a steak on the same machine! Fantastic design, funny that the ashtray on the bottom is one of my favorite parts... I don't have to take it apart every time i use it for cleaning...

I have had my Broil King XL pellet grill for about 9-months now. I must say, I was a bit intimidated about adding a pellet grill to my backyard grilling set up. Why, as all I every knew was cooking with gas (I have a Broil King Imperial 590, gas grill and it is awesome!). Well guess what? Before I knew it, I was smoking brisket, wings, sausage and more, AND grilling burgers, chicken, and steak! Not only does my pellet grill do low and slow, but it gets very hot for grilling too! There is nothing I like better than a perfectly grilled steak. I have always LOVED how great a steak I can grill on my Imperial 590. My Broil King pellet grill gets plenty hot enough to sear the perfect steak too! Now I the toughest choice I have, is which of my Broil Kings to cook on? This will only get tougher as I am looking to add a Broil King KEG to my grilling arsenal next!
