Had this grill for over two years now, love it. There is only one thing I have not used and that is the grill grates. The only thing I would change is an option for a hard top type cover/lid. There is a similar grill that offers one but the build on the camp chef is much better. Maybe Camp chef could make it a choice between grill grates or cover. You can find a lid , well made but kind of pricey.
I had already reviewed this product, but now that I have used it a good deal, I have to say that I am considering giving it away and getting a different griddle. I really thought I could live with the drain channel, but guess the way I grill, it isn't going to work for me. I must be doing something wrong because scrapping hot grease in my direction is dangerous. I really do like the product, but because the drain channel it at the front, I have splashed myself too many times. I still recommend the product, but be aware of this design flaw.
I bought my griddle about two months ago. It is a great griddle. The portability works really well for me. I need to buy a bag for the griddle top however. Only one drawback I have with this griddle. The drain hole is way too small. I scrape my griddle a lot and the hole seems to get plugged a lot. If it had a larger grease drain hole, I would give it a 5 star rating.
Great product just wish it came with a carry bag for the griddle! Do they make one?
I bought this flat top in May '22. I did a lot of research and decided the CAMP CHEF was the daddy. I am not sorry I chose the Camp Chef as I wanted the option of removing the griddle and using the grill as needed/wanted. My disappointment is the uneven heat. I show as much as 90+ degrees difference from left to right. Way more than I think acceptable. Can't have a good sear on the right side and you better find the sweet spot over the burners to cook that perfect smash burger. When grilling the difference is even more pronounced. I would be challenged to recommend this product if I can't get it balanced better.
Great griddle. Well made. Slow to ship and instructions are poor. But the griddle is really good.

I bought this 4 years ago and need to replace the burners and heat deflectors. The parts are all rusted out. Any advice on finding the part numbers as this site doesn't show a picture or specify the model for the parts

I love my Camp Chef 600. But there are some concerns for those new shoppers. Camp Chef has an EXTREMELY limited accessories list. Everything I have is after market or BLACKSTONE, that is very disappointing. I'm jealous of my son's Blackstone scrap and oil remover. Very large and you can purchase foil to line drip tray. Camp Chef has a very small hole for oil scrap to not fit thru. If I had it to do over I would go with Blackstone, CC makes no effort to stock products or make efforts for customer support. I like my CC 600 but would not recommend it to others. When It dies I will replace with a Blackstone.
The Flat Top 600 is a must for foodies looking to expand their outdoor kitchen options. There is plenty of cooking space to create different temperature zones and cook a variety of items at the same time. It seems very solid and well built. I can't believe that I waited so long to get one!

I researched every flat top griddle on the market and the Camp Chef is the best regardless of price. From Camp Chef having built in wind guard on griddle, ability to level cart and griddle, two in one griddle and grill, pre-seasoned griddle, and not having to always light burners in series, were just a few of the reasons I chose Camp Chef. After cooking on the FTG600 for the first time, I am now trying to find recipes for a good excuse to use it again and again. Just go buy one that fits your lifestyle and enjoy.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
