In order to use it, shelves must be folded down. In order to fold down shelves, gas tank must be removed. Gas tank does then not fit on griddle shelf and thus, cannot be covered. Need to enlarge the cover or redesign the tank/shelf assembly.

I did not realize when I ordered that it only fits if side tables are folded down. I am returning. I ordered the one for the black stone grill and it fits. I love my grill but do not want to have to fold down shelves and put things away to cover it.

Was only kind of happy when I got it. Flat top grills need continuous protection when not in use. Wind will blow dust on it, rain can compromise the coating and rust it, birds can make their own delightful messes on the cook top, etc. So you need a good cover much more than with a grill or smoker. But to use this you need to remove the grease trap, fold in the side tables, and then wrestle this on there (the elastic is quite aggressive, and I don't know why. It's not like it's going to fly off when on, there's really no need at all for the elastic band at the bottom). Then the reverse when going out to cook. If you use your flat top often, this gets to be a bigger and bigger hassle. Then it rips. It's faded nearly white, and the entire top fabric is brittle and ripping from the New Mexico sun. I understand that the sun is harsh, but my other cheap fabric covers on my grill and smoker hold up for years at half the cost of this. Camp Chef should make a nice hard cover for the flat tops like other flat top manufacturers do, and also make an easy on/ easy off cover for day-to-day usage, not for storage like this one appears to be meant for.

I just received my cover yesterday and am very pleased. It fits snugly without being too tight. One recommendation would be to place a couple of "cheese melting domes" or pans on top of the grill before placing the cover. That allows any rain to run down and off the sides instead of pooling on the griddle.

I'm glad we bought the grill cover as it protects the grill and looks great. It is snug and form fitting...it is a little difficult to put on and take off because the bottom is a bungee-type cord which does not slide on and off easily. One thing, it will NEVER fly away in high winds or a storm! But I am glad we bought it.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
