This is a good-looking lighter weight Fire Table if weight is important (was for me) that matches my hardscape in the yard. However, similar to another buyer's experience/comment, and having ample gas pressure, the flame on this unit is hard to see, actually cannot see in daylight. Even moving the rock around and exposing the entire burner, the flame looks like that of my kitchen oven's gas burner with smaller blue flame about 2" tall; in other words, there is nothing natural looking with the flames. I would not recommend this unit and hope there might be some type of replacement burner I could purchase that would throw out more of a natural flame.

I recently purchased the gas firepit online, enticed by its promise of a beautiful solid frame and easy installation. The firepit did live up to these aspects – the frame is indeed sturdy and elegant, and setting it up was a breeze. The weather and climate protection cover included adds a layer of convenience and safeguards the firepit against the elements. However, the most crucial aspect, the flames, proved to be a significant letdown. Despite trying various configurations - with and without lava rocks - and ample gas supply, the flames remain incredibly low, nearly invisible in the early evening (see image at full flame). Basically, it is impossible to see any flames during the day and in the dark the flames are no more than an inch and half in height. The firepit's flames simply lack the expected height and vibrancy. Also, there is no glass cover for the flames as advertised. Regrettably, I discarded the packaging due to storm damage, or I would absolutely return it.

It does require some assembly, but you can check out Page 8 of the Owner's Manual linked under the Manufacturer's Downloads. You should be fine to set this fire pit table on top of your composite deck, just make sure that aren't any combustible materials that can get inside the table or flame. Make sure to also refer to the Owner's Manual for other instructions on installation and use.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
