I have had my Woodwind for around a month so far. I have cooked, smoked, baked, and seared about everything imaginable so far. I am convinced you cannot screw anything up with this rig!

Incredible piece of machinery. This grill by far is the best I have ever used. I make the roasted chicken from the recipe provided on the website. It was fall off the bone good. This was one of the best values for the money.

I bought this on a Friday night and it delivered Free the following Wednesday! I burned it in after assembly and it really hold temps well, even in the Cold. (Less than 5 degree's to either side of set temp) The side Sear box is a Game changer, i have a couple nice Rib eyes on now and will finish with the reverse sear. Very pleased overall and i'm a Traditional Offset Stick burner guy. There is something to be said for being able to set temp and walkaway, that is huge. I have Ribs for Sunday and will be following with Tri Tip and a Brisket after that. I will report back with how that goes, but i am very Happy with the Woodwind so far. As far as the review saying "No smoke?" Please.... "Pitmaster?" I think you need to re-read the Instructions.

Now let me start by saying that I never thought I could cook anything and be called really good at it. That all has changed since my Boss bought me a Woodwind Pellet Grill for my birthday. With this amazing contraption I can make anything taste like a Pro cooked it, the sear box adds the right amount of final touches to everything to make it look as exceptional as it tastes. Perfection every time.

After watching the Grill God a bunch of times a few of us at work swore one of us would have to get the Woodwind. I was the lucky one whose wife did not say "no" (she didn't say "yes" but specifically didn't say "no"). I have had the grill for less than a week but have cooked burgers, buffalo chicken, smoked meatloaf, rib-eyes and 321 ribs. She has now changed to say "yes"... LOL When it arrived, I had to call my son to help me bring it in for assembly (the box has to be 200 lbs). Assembly was easier than my last 2 gas grills and we noticed the quality of the parts and everything actually lined up how it was supposed to. We then decide that since it needed to be heated to burn off the oils that we would have to cook something. The only thing I had in the freezer for grilling was burgers but they were frozen solid. We threw them on Lo Smoke until they thawed and then Hi Smoke to finish them. We then tossed them on the sear box and giggled like school girls... it smelled so good. Honestly, the best burgers either of us have ever had. Sunday I cooked the 321 ribs and had Mom and Dad over. Mom is not usually a fan of ribs but ate her share and went for more. Dad said they were the best ribs he has ever had. I take both as a big compliment. My biggest complaint? It is too easy. I am used to babysitting the grill and now I just WAIT. I bought a wireless probe and just sat around watching the temperature rise while my mouth watered. BTW, the guys at work love it... They have been treated to the smoked meatloaf and ribs. Thank you Grill God!

I don't usually write reviews because I research a product then buy where I feel there is the greatest value or benefit for my purpose. The Woodwind with the sear box is simply amazing. First, I have grilled on wood, charcoal and gas, but always felt that something was missing. Here is the answer. I have NEVER smoked anything, on a grill, so I had reservations about it. This is the answer. The Woodwind came, I assembled it the next day, did the curing thing to burn it in and cooked that night. My first was a simple whole chicken, rinsed, dried, oiled and rubbed. I Mesquite smoked it per the instructions on the Camp Chef website, then cranked it to 400 per instructions. Oh My Goodness. The chicken was beautiful, the meat was cooked and this bird was packed with moisture and flavor. I have never had such a chicken feast in my like, I mean to tell you the moisture level was incredible, the meat almost fell off the bone but still held on. So the second night I checked the freezer and found some pork chips, they were thin, probably less than 1/2 inch thick, but we have grilled those thin cuts for years. I found no instructions for cooking such a thin cut so I smoked it on high for about 40 minutes, watched the meat probe and moved them to the sear box when temp got to 150. I seared them for 40 seconds per move, quarter rotations and flips. These chops were AMAZING. The color, the presentation, flavor and moisture were better than any pork that I ever enjoyed. That SEAR BOX is quite the tool, even for this rookie. After only two meals this Woodwind grill has exceeded any expectations. I don't even Hoover over it like I used to have to do, I set it and forget it. WOW!
The good and the bad...wife purchased the Woodwind pellet grill with the sear box. It was easy to put together and very easy to cook on. Love the sear box. The only bad thing is my wife no longer uses the oven in the house.
I unpacked, assembled, and seasoned my Woodwind grill yesterday. That aroma from the competition blend gave me an extra skip in my step. Assembly was straightforward and took me about an hour (I did have a 3 and 5yr old wanting to "help" while running off with parts at times). I did my due diligence in researching wood pellet grills before purchasing the Woodwind. The features are what separates it from the rest for me. The sear box topped the cake. With all things considered, the Woodwind is priced just right. Thank you for a great product.

They call me the grill master as I grill about 3-4 times a week, year round. So far, since getting my Woodwind grill with side burner about 10 days ago, I've tried salmon, steak, scallops, tri-tip roast, and chicken. Everything turns out amazing! The flavor you have to try to believe. I particularly like the temperature probe for getting perfect results each and every time. The sear box finishes off everything just the way it should be. My brother has a Traeger, and I'm so glad I went with the Woodwind. If you're thinking about a pellet grill this is the one to buy. Happy grilling!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
