Customer Reviews
I haven't used the pellet grill yet, but just put it together today, which was easy. To my surprise, I got the newest version of this model, which is not shown with the online pictures. The new version came with the PID controller with dual meat probes. Can't wait to try it out.

I assembled it filled it with pellets and it will not get hot no matter what. Need to call customer service next....so a big piece of trash so far
I bought this Smoke Pro DLX 24 a week ago. After assembly, I put power to do the initial auger tube fill and burn in, to my dismay and irritation the auger would not rotate. Unfortunately it was over the Easter weekend so no one was available at Camp Chef to walk me through the problem. Finally on Monday I able to reach someone to walk me through a fix. (Camp Chef support was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with) They suggested pulling the control panel and look for any wires/connectors that might have come disconnected. After pulling the control panel I found a disconnected wire connector #B connecting to the auger motor. With the control panel removed I still had to remove the bottom panel to get better access to the connector in question. The wires were too short to reconnect through the control panel opening. I had to reinstall the control panel to allow more slack in the wire and reconnect the wire from the bottom. With this done the unit worked as advertised. I finally got a chance to do my burn in and do a cook. I decided to do a whole chicken versus an expensive cut of meat just to see if there were any large temperature swings Start up was quick and easy. Once started and reaching selected temperature we noticed higher temperature deviations 30 degrees at one point. Twenty or so minutes into the cook the temperature was almost rock steady with very slight deviations, 5 degrees. During the cook the door was never open until the cook was complete. The unit is every bit as good or better then talked about. Set it and forget it. Assembly instructions were fairly easy to read and understand except for the handle deflector instruction, that took us a few minute to figure out. It took us roughly 1 hour to assemble, we're not as fast as we used to be. I am in my early 70's and my wife is in her mid 60's. She read the instructions while I did the grunt work. Pros: The control panel was easy to read and all functions on the control panel pretty much straight forward. The cooker came with 2 meat probes, very handy for dual cooking and a glass sight gauge to view pellet levels in the pellet hopper. Nice Touch! Really like the ash clean out cup on the underside of the cooker...easy on easy off. Above all the cooker is stout and well constructed. Cons: I would like to see Camp Chef add extra wheels..the cooker is kind of cumbersome to move around with only 1 set of wheels. Would be nice to have an optional hinge on the protective guard in the pellet hopper so you have the option of raising or lowering the guard. I found the trouble shooting guide was lacking only because in my case they hadn't added any auger faults. Guess you can't think of everything. My rating would have been a straight 5 "except" for the disconnected wire/connector.
Camp Chef Smoker grill is the worst king of grill ever made. The Auger gets clogged so easily despite not having pellets lodged in. The temperature always swings up and down every time. Most people have to stay outside to watch their meat not to go dried up and burnt. Camp Chef Smoker grill is a waste of money and time

Ease of use and performance are just nuts. I've never had something so simple. Their customer service is top notch, the couple of issues I've had they've been on top of in a hurry and with a smile. I'd buy just about anything from these guys!
Received for my Birthday Nov. 2018...Raved about it, recommended to friends. Stopped working, won't turn on. Dead.
I bought this smoker and i was impressed how it kept the temperature almost perfect. Made a pork butt that fell apart at the bone. Can't wait to smoke a brisket.
Got this on Christmas Eve and have already cooked chicken ribs and sausage on it using Camp Chef Oak and Cherry pellets. I bought this same grill for my daughter a couple of years ago and she has been very happy with it so thought it was time to get me one. Very happy with the purchase and the food taste great!
This smoker self regulates itself throughout the whole smoke. The total flavor that comes from the cook is amazing! Smoked ribs and prime rib and was blown away at how the machine pretty much did everything for you. The probe allowed you to know exactly when you wanted to pull it from the smoker and put on the finishing touches prior to cutting it up and enjoying what was just created. If you don't have a smoker in your life yet I promise this will change everything you think cooking is.
Recently purchased and have been using product alot. I have smoked meat and fish for 20 minutes and finished by increasing the heat to 350. Excellent! I have grilled chicken, beef, venison, fish. All fantastic. Fast and Easy to start grilling. Shutdown by turning the knob to 'shutdown'. What could be easier?

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
