With the digital temperature display, simple temperature settings, and an exclusive ash cleanout system, this grill will have you spending less time needing to monitor your grill and more time enjoying the outdoors and a delicious meal. This SmokePro DLX is constructed of durable powder coated steel with a stainless steel lid and a stainless steel fire box, and it features a 429 square inch primary cooking area and a 141 square inch upper warming rack. This gives you a total of 570 square inches of cooking space, all heated by 25,000 BTUs of cooking power. With the simple temperature selection system, the grill can be set to temperatures as low as 160 degrees for smoking and up to 500 degrees for the perfect sear. Once you have chosen your desired temperature, the digital display can be toggled between showing the grill temperature and internal food temperature, which is monitored by the included stainless steel meat probes. Smart Smoke technology keeps your Camp Chef pellet grill with 15 degrees of your selected temperature. The automatic auger dispenses pellets as needed from the high capacity hopper, which holds up to 18 pound of pellets at once. A continuous fan insures that your grill stays evenly heated and smoky, so every bit of food is perfectly cooked. When you are done cooking, clean up is easy, thanks to the exclusive Camp Chef ash cleanout system. Simply pull open the trap door with the side knob and empty the ash cup underneath the grill. This grill also features a pair of large, heavy-duty wheels for easy rolling, a pellet clean out door so you can keep your unused pellets protected and dry between uses, and a powder coated steel side shelf.

Expensive junk

This smoker is a constant headache. In the first year I had to replace the circuit board, the second year I had to replace the motor and today it won't move pellets. It never held a consistent temperature so you always had to be around to keep tabs on it. Did I mention that at least every other time I used it the burner would go out and need to be restarted. Do not buy, it is overpriced junk.

DLX24

Jus purchased the DLX24 for the second time. The first one I purchase in March of 2015 and have never had an issue with this unit or needed parts. Th second one I purchased for a second property. I looked at other brand to see if there was something better for me on the market. After some research and actually purchasing a different brand, that I sent back, I went back to the camp chef. I purchased the same model as before and could not be happier.

Awesome smoker

I received my grill on Friday, assembled it in an hour which was great! Smoked a rack of ribs yesterday and they were amazing! Should have bought this grill a long time ago!

Exceeded expectations

Just received this 2 days ago. Just smoked a pork loin. It was delicious! Mild smoke flavor which is what I wanted. Meat was absolutely delicious and better than I have ever tasted. Used camp chef herb marinade for chicken. Thanks Camp Chef!

5 Year Old and I've Loved It!

I hav ereally enjoyed my DLX pellet grill. I've got the older model but through the years I've never had one single problem with it and it's been a work horse. It's been rock solid and really helped me cook my family some seriously delicious food. I've only recently gifted it to my brother and upgraded to the 36" woodwind but I'm confident the grill will continue to go on for years.

Realized that I have been working too hard

I have always used a traditional smoker. To smoke a brisket, or ribs usually meant that I had to constantly monitory and adjust my temperature. Sometimes I was given feedback that the food was just too smokey. Last weekend, I put together my DLX 24, and boy have I been doing it the hard way. I smoked my first pork butt, and I started it at 3am, in 11 degree Michigan Temps. The grill got up to temp quickly, and it smoked perfectly! As the day wore on, the temp never got over 47 degrees. 12 hours later, the pork butt was perfect. The probes allowed me to pull it off when the internal temp reached 205. I through on 2 racks of St Louis Spares at 10 am, and they were perfect at 3pm as well. I am loving my new pellet grill. Just waiting for the sidekick to become available, and it will cause me to retire my 14 year old Weber Gas Grill. I used Camp Chef Competition blend pellets. I used ~14lbs of pellets for 12 hour smoke at 275 degrees and a smoke setting at 7 in pretty cold temps. It did just fine.

This is a beast!

I bought my smoke pro last summer and the only thing that I am upset about it why I waited so long to get one. I've done everything with this thing! The direct flame option is great. I haven't bought a searbox and still do burgers and steaks. I smoked this winter and it kept the heat in -9 degree weather. Great purchase, love this thing

First time Smoker owner

Have been thinking about it smoker for years. Recently moved and decided the time was right. Because of my age (86) I was a little apprehensive about putting it together and it's operation. I was pleasantly surprised. By my self, I was able to put it together in about one hour. Your instructions were concise and easy to follow. Today was my first try at smoking. Again, your manual made things easy . Cooked a slab of baby back ribs. Followed your recipe and they were the best ribs I have ever cooked. I had NO start up problems and the temperature was between 221and 239 degrees the entire 6 hours. If you are thinking about a smoker you should consider this grill. I did a lot of research, and it paid off.

When will my item arrive?

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

  • Most freight products ship on a pallet
  • Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
  • We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.

For carriers that deliver without an appointment:

Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
