Blaze LTE 30-Inch Propane Gas Griddle w/ Lights - BLZ-GRIDDLE-LTE-LP

I am not sure what lifetime warranty means if you have a product that bows and no replacement is offered. I have had mine for 2.5 years and dealt with this bowing from about the 3rd meal I cooked. I use the griddle about 4 nights a week. Certainly regret the purchase.

I purchased the Blaze propane griddle with high hopes, but it has proven to be a serious safety concern. On two separate occasions, one side of the unit failed to ignite properly, and both times were followed by a loud internal bang—essentially small explosions. Despite following all setup instructions and troubleshooting steps, these dangerous incidents occurred and have understandably left me questioning the product's safety and reliability. Even after reporting the issue and complying with multiple requests for photos and diagnostics, I was told the regulators included might have been incorrect. But even if that's true, the internal structure of this unit has likely been compromised due to the explosions. A simple regulator swap does not restore confidence in a product that has already proven unstable. I urge potential buyers to proceed with extreme caution. While my Blaze grill and side burner have performed well, this griddle has been a dangerous exception.

I want to preface this review by saying that I base a lot of my online and physical purchases on reviews. So with that I'll leave this. This griddle is awesome for the price. Great design, sturdy, well- built. I was skeptical, at first, after reading some of the comments and watching a YouTube review or two (not very many around), but I will tell you, if you're looking for a nice looking griddle, that performs great, with a budget in mind, this is a great option. One thing many folks have to realize is that cooking on stainless steel is not the same as cooking on cast iron or season steel (Blackstone). This is a completely different ball game. Like a stainless steel pan, you need to let the surface heat until it becomes non stick, this takes time, then add your oil of preference and her to cooking. Clean up is easy when the griddle is still hot. A little warping will occur when the griddle is heating but flattens out when it cools. Just remember, when comparing griddles, make sure you are comparing apples to apples. If you are a backyard griddler that's looking for a blackstone upgrade, this is a great choice, for the money.

After a year of constant use, the Blaze Premium LTE 30-Inch Built-In Propane Gas Griddle has proven to be a solid performer, with a few drawbacks. One of the best features is the low maintenance—it doesn't require deep cleaning, and there's no sign of material loss on the burner surfaces, even with frequent use. The stainless steel is holding up extremely well. I appreciate the lid a lot. The LED dial lights are a nice touch, both aesthetically and functionally. I rely on them to remind myself when the propane is on, which has been quite handy. However, there are a few issues I've encountered. First, the griddle lacks a leveling kit, which really should either come standard or be an available option. I had to get creative and use aluminum strips to make my own shims for leveling. This should be something Blaze provides as an option for customers. Another downside is the temperature control. The thick steel plate is great for durability and heat retention, but it doesn't go low enough for cooking items like eggs, which I prepare often. I find myself turning the griddle on and off to maintain the low temperatures I need. Additionally, uneven heating is noticeable during the seasoning process and can affect cooking consistency. Overall, this griddle is priced fairly for its quality, but the lack of a leveling kit and the uneven cooking knocked off a star for me.

I purchased this griddle and the Blaze Grill LTE 32" at the same time both with carts. When unboxing this cart it appeared to have been a return and all the parts were just crammed back in the box compared to the cart for the grill that came all organized and protected. When putting the cart together two of the base pre drilled holes were too far center which now makes it impossible to adjust the doors correctly. Make sure you take a picture of your serial number before you install the griddle and grill because once in place you cannot access the serial numbers and therefore cannot register your product without uninstalling and lifting the griddle/grill out which I am not strong enough to do. Additionally you only have 30 days from purchase (not delivery) to register your product shipping time was 7 days for me so a week was lost there. As for performance, the griddle takes a while to heat up and when is does get hot the cooking platform warps up on the sides about a quarter inch so all the oils want to puddle in the middle. There is no heat consistency across the surface either regardless of how you adjust the flames. You have to check your surface temps with a laser thermometer frequently. Before this purchase I have owned two pitboss griddles and one Blackstone all of which were more friendly for cooking other than the searing capability of this stainless steel griddle it's all just a waste of money.

I honestly like the griddle except for 2 factors, #1 being the least, The grease catch tray isn't wide enough to get a scraper in to direct the grease to the hole. #2 which is the most irritating, is the ignition system, It literally sucks, it's a constant hassle, one side lights, the other doesn't, turn off the lit side and get the the othe lit and then try and light both and WOOF, I hate it, And yes I had a professional licensed well known gas company install it.

I've had this griddle a year and it's broke 3 times. Now the propane won't flow or ignite. It worked for maybe 1 month.

Front observation hole easy to cause grease fire, terrible design.

Love this griddle! Heats up fast and easy to clean!
