After giving up I read some reviews and got it on using veg spray. I only bought one as my plan is to use that lid only for pouring. I keep the cheap flat lids on my 6 buckets for easier storage. I used buckets from Menards, 2.5 & 5 gal

I bought two lid to store my pellets. Any of the 5 gallons I tried is too big for the lid. Its the firts time I tried a Traeger products that disappoint me. Traeger can you di something for me?

Like others have said it is very tight. It will snap on with some brute force. Once it's in it is super tight and works well.

The product says it will fit standard 5 gallon buckets but we tried 3 of them and none of them were even close to fitting. The lid was way too small. Very disappointed because we bought 3 anticipating that they would help store our pellets better.

Waste of money. Tried a dozen different buckets and none fit. Come on traeger this needs to be fixed or stop selling them one.

It would be great if it fit a 5 gallon bucket like it said it would. I have tried 3 different brand 5 gallon buckets and it doesn't fit any of them.

Lids dont fit on two different buckets I bought. After buying, ive read similar reviews, thats my fault for not doing my research.

I purchased two of these and thought this is just way to hard. I finally got one lid on and was struggling with the second bucket when my son said, "Dad why are you making it so hard?" He told me that the lid was much thicker at the front so that rather than working the lid rear to front I should try working it from side to side. The seconde lid popped right on. I purchased 4 more and they worked great! Sometimes kids can just figure stuff out.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
