We received this fire pit last week, and put it together, well built. There are a couple things I think they should do different. 1. They do not tell you in the ad, that it comes with the orifice to convert to natural gas, this is what we wanted, but decided to order even though it didn't say we could, and we would buy parts here to fix it, however when it came, the orifice was in a bag attached to the propane hose. We did have to buy the hose, but at least it was meant to be used with natural gas. 2. it would be nice if they had a way to control the gas, without having to crawl under the table and reach in to control it. With propane this would really be hard, but with natural gas, its just the fact you have to sit down to reach the valve, and starter. However it is not bad enough to make this unit undesirable. 3. it would be nice if the adjustable feet had longer screws, our patio is not completely flat, so I could use more than the 1/2" adjustment they gave me. The other review states this is not worth the money. I would completely disagree with that statement. The product is very well built, it is very attractive, the flame put out seems to be just the right amount, I run it with the valve half on. Even the top cover is very well made, while some of the fire pits we looked at either did not have a cover, or there was a hole to put your finger in to take it off, this one has a button you push so the table top is flat when you want it covered, push the button, and a knob bumps up so you can lift the lid off. Another thing we didn't realize in ordering this unit, it came with a bag to make the propane tank look nicer under it (we don't need, but nice it came with), and it came with a cover to put over the whole fire pit when you want to store it (for the winter). I feel the value we received was very good, and I would recumbend this fire pit to anyone, everyone who has seen it has commented how unique and attractive it is.

The unit says it requires a standard 20 lb propane tank but when on earth is installed, you cannot reach the controls to start, adjust or stop the unit. But it looks nice. Not worth the money.

After looking at the manufacturer's manual, it looks like they only have distances from combustibles for the sides and top so the decision would fall on your local building codes. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
