Customer Reviews
I've had my Signet 390 for years. It has served well and continues to work perfectly. (I've had to replace both the cast grill and the burners once in 8 years). That said, now the cast grill is failing again and is getting harder to maintain. I've always cleaned and seasoned the grill top but its just not the same as it was. One of the grill segments actually warped and is no longer flat. So be it, the problem now is I cant find a new stainless steel replacement grill top. Anyway, great BBQ but its weakness is the "durable" cast grill.
Love my purchase, it was easy to assemble and The cooking grids make for very good meat, juices stay in the meat. The only thing I don't like about it are the 2 non swivel wheels versus 2 swivel wheels, Making bringing the BBQ in an another area rather ackward.

i bought mine 13 years ago and it is still a performer. i have had a base replaced because i caught a wheel and snapped the insert for the wheel. i have had the grills replaced twice. when looking at these reviews and seeing rusty grills - That is neglect by the owners Side tables warped - someone or thing pushed down on them. I've done and had to spend the 1 minute to fix it. If you care for these and do a bit of maintenance they last forever. I'll never have to buy another grill. Clean it, cover it,maintain it. Maybe some day i'll find a Sovereign at the dump because someone that has no idea will throw one out. I'll gladly recycle that into my next BBQ - Probably for lass than a hundred bucks. I fearlessly sold these when running a hardware store in the days past and i rtecommend them to everyone. Everyone!

In less than a year the paint on the lid has flaked off ( new lid was sent under warranty after I complained ), when starting I can only open the tank so very little or the emergency gas valve shuts down and most of the grates have some sort of rust on them even after being treated.
Last September we replaced our old Sovereign with the Signet 9468-87. Absolutely do not like this grill. Part of the allure of grilling outdoors was the ease of stainless steel grids: heat - scrape - cook - eat; repeat process at next next meal. It seems you can't do this with cast iron??? I thought how hard can it be to get used to the cast iron grid that came with the Signet. Seasoning isn't a problem but day to day cleaning sure is! "Treat them like a cast iron pan" is the advice from the internet (nothing about this on your website). Well that of course involves hand washing in the sink - a complete pita! Even if the grids didn't have to go in the sink you can't scrape/clean the back areas (or use the space for cooking) because the rotisserie burner is too low. Besides, scraping just pulls of the seasoning? Maybe I'm using the wrong tools? I would happily replace the cast iron for stainless steel but after searching your website it seems you do not make the stainless steel grates in the 25.56" x 15.12" size. Any help in figuring out how to deal with these grids would be much appreciated! So frustrated with inability to easily deal with the the grills.

Just got rid of my Sterling 2888. It wasn't quite as old as me, I'm 84, but I did have it a long time. It still cooked beautifully but was starting to look its age. Decided on a new one. Decided it was definitely a Broil King. One of my better decisions. After I got it together it looked great, after I had cooked it was great. A joy to use.

Excellent quality and a great grill, bought this to replace my old signet 90 which i had for 17 years! I am sad to say that i prefered my old grills side shelves that were tough cast plastic that were easy to clean but they both had small condiment shelves for sauces and more importantly beer! . Not sure why they done away with this feature.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
