I love my Napoleon Prestige Pro and I am always trying to find different ways of using it. I first started with cooking the best steaks ever on the sear burner to the juiciest chicken breast. Then it was al pastor on the rotisserie and then stir fry on the sear burner. And the list goes on. This time around, it was wings in the rotisserie. With the wings, I wanted something with them that the kids would love. I went with scalloped potatoes and onions with Velveeta cheese on the Napoleon Cast Iron Skillet. I received this Cast Iron Skillet free from Napoleon as part of their product tester program. This time around I wanted to use it for something other than fajitas. I first thinly sliced the potatoes and onions on the mandolin. At this point, I was worried about the size of the cast iron skillet to provide a full side for the family. I heated the grill to 400 F with two of the main burners and the rear rotisserie burner. I let the potatoes cook for about 35 minutes while the wings ran in the rotisserie basket. The removable handle allows for less space taken on the grill while protecting your hands. I pulled it off the grill when the potatoes were completely cooked. The potatoes turned out amazing and the amount provided was a lot more than I expected. The true test was if the family liked them. The family completely destroyed all of the potatoes. I love this cast iron skillet so much that I am going to buy a second one!

I was provided this skillet to review from Napoleon. Awesome little griddle. Worked perfectly to cook up some peppers and onions to go with my smoked sausages. Has nice heat retention from being cast iron and the removable handle made placing and removing from the grill very easy. The included plate was nice to set it on while still hot to serve. Definitely recommend this for your bbq cooks.

Received this for testing from Napoleon. Overall impressions were that I wish it was a little bigger. Works well for small amounts of whatever you're cooking. The kids loved doing personal pizzas in it. Makes sauteed onion and peppers easier while grilling sausages for the game, but my favorite was one skillet breakfast if you like to grill in the morning. Love the detachable handle so you don't have to worry if it's hot or not and the platform you can put it on after. I recommend cleaning and doing your own seasoning before using like any cast iron product.

We used the skillet to cook fajita vegetables on the sizzle zone. It worked great! While the chicken was cooking on the prestige pro, we put some sliced onions and peppers with a bit of oil and seasoning in the skillet. What started as a large pile quickly cooked down and they finished up right alongside the chicken. The removable handle was great for bringing them back into the house. The included plastic holder worked well for serving at the table, although we did wait for the pan to cool a bit first. Overall, very happy with the pan but next time I'll add more veggies!

I received the Napoleon Professional Iron Skillet 56003 free for testing purposes. This is a product that is well thought out and has many uses; for example, serving sizzling fajitas, or searing a steak right in the skillet on the grill. Once the skillet is seasoned, it can be placed on the hot grill and heated up so one can cook the fajitas or steaks. The skillet kit comes with a handy handle to take the skillet off of the grill. Napoleon also thought of having a serving platter to place the skillet into for single serving meals (just like a Mexican restaurant). Pros: Heats the food in the skillet on the grill. A handle is included to easily lift the skillet off of the grill (without burning oneself). A platter is provided to place the skillet in when it comes off of the grill. The skillet and platter are combined like a dish on which to eat one's food. I know I will be using this Professional Iron Skillet frequently in the future!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
