If I could give this thermometer less than one star I would. It is a piece of junk. This is the second one I bought, the first one only lasted a few months and stopped working, replaced the battery and did no good. Then I reluctently bought another one. Had this one less than 6 months and the same thing. Stopped working, replaced the battery and nothing. Save your money and frustration and do not buy. Use one time and throw away. Customer service said there is nothing they can do without proof of purchase. I did not steal it so that in itself is proof of purchase. I did not save the receipt.

I see others have posted a similar problem - the diapering numbers. Changing the battery didn't help. Very disappointing.

Had this for the past season but now nothing. Battery is new but will not turn on. These china made thermometers are losing customers for Weber. I am one of them!

This is my 2nd one, when it works it's accurate. Went to replace the battery on 51992 and the screw is stripped! Tried all the tricks they over on line does not work

I recently bought a Weber grill and thought I would buy this Weber Instant Read thermometer. I used the Weber Instant read thermometer once and it shut off every time I place the thermometer in the meat.

We have bought 2 of these. With the first, the sides of numbers disappeared in just a few months. Thinking it was user error, we bought a replacement. About a year in the same thing happened. Battery was fine. Will not be buying again.

I have used this thermometer for baking as well as checking the temps in various items and works great. You have to remember to shut it off when you are done and wipe clean. The little rubber protector also needs to be put back on each time. Everything has their purpose.

Have had the thermometer for 2 years and left side of digits are starting to diappear. Replaced battery and issue did not resolve.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. - Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
