You buy it, reading the product packaging and name that states it is "instant read." Then you come home, open it up, read the instructions and discover that it is NOT "instant read" after all. Only after getting to page 7 of the instruction booklet do you discover that it is in fact "15 second read." Weber could have said "quick read." Try and find a definition of "instant" that would include a timespan of 15 seconds. You won't.

I mine work fine some 5-6 times, after that the display stop working, I initially thought it was the battery, replaced it and still does not work.

I wanted to check the temp accuracy of this thermometer. I placed the probe 2 inches into a pot of boiling water that boils at 212°. The thermometer read 209°. I need to add 3°."Just saying".

I bought it two weeks ago, used it twice and the display does not work. Cannot get the battery screw to open without stripping and figured its not worth the time and effort to wait for a battery to arrive. Disappointed that Weber would put their name on this.

I have had them for years they work and I can replace if needed. I have the popular one that is expensive but I like these ones I use them for my smoker and my grill. Also I have a separate one for my fish room to check water temperature and they also are just as good is what is in that hobby

I bought this item on June 2020, and 6 months later it doesn't work anymore. It was almost never used (3-5 times). I thought the problem was that the battery went out, so I replaced it, but the display still won't turn on.

I bought my Weber digital thermometer and used it maybe 4 or 5 times max before the battery died, or so I thought. I ordered a replacement battery which brought the thermometer back to life until after about 1 use when the screen started only partially showing numbers before going completely blank. Tried another replacement battery but no luck. Doesn't seem like that intricate of a gadget that it should perform so poorly. Sad that a simple tool like this has me reconsidering the quality of Weber as a whole.

Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
