I have purchased 2 of these. Bought the second because I loved its design but it quit working. I thought at the time it may have gotten wet so gave it a second chance. The second one did the same thing after 4 months. Again great design and functionality but not tough enough.

I bought this 5 months ago and we used it on average 3 times a week. LOVED IT! Then only half the numbers started showing up and replaced the battery and still only shows partial screen. Picture attached

The thermometer seems to work fine. However, in order to even start using it, we had to open the battery compartment to remove the plastic barrier. We happened to have a tool that worked, but the screw is soooooo tiny, I wonder how many people have a tool that small. I'm hoping it works for a long, long time before we have to change the battery. I think this is a very poor design. The Weber instant read we had previously was much better

I bought this thermometer to go with my great Weber kettle bbq but it has failed terribly. It reads LL.L on the screen and even after changing the battery it still doesn't work. I'm very disappointed!

dropped it into a kettle of 214 degree maple syrup and when I fished it out it still showed correct temp. with no fogged window! Yay!

Don't waste your money. After only a few uses the digital screen is illegible. I thought it may be a battery issue so I replaced the current battery and that changed nothing. See my picture for the issue. I'd like a new one!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
