Only had this a few months and it stopped working. I'm guessing the battery died, but I can't find instructions to replace it. I'm surprised it would need a battery that quickly.

I was very excited to get this thermometer last summer. Used it for a few month, then the display started to fail. First the lower half became unreadable, then the whole thing failed. I did replace the battery, but that did not fix the problem. I contacted Weber support by email, but have not received any response other than a confirmation that they recieved my email and would get back to me. Have not heard anything yet.

I bought this thermometer shortly after we got our new grill in April 2021. It worked great for 8 months and then the display went crazy. I thought it was the battery, so I tested the battery and it was fine. Sadly, I don't have the receipt or I would try to get a warranty replacement. I should have paid more attention to the bad reviews others have posted. I thought Weber would have a better product. The new grill is great though.

I got a Weber Instant-Read as a Christmas present. Even though it is winter- we cook out year round except for when it snows. It worked awesome until last Thursday. Really quick read and lots of meat done to a turn. I got it out and it would not turn on. Today I tried replacing the battery. No joy. It still won't come on. Lots of corrosion and goo- looks like the old battery leaked. I have never seen a small battery do this, but other than that I have no explanation.

Worked great a few times and always hand washed the probe. Battery seemed to have died really quick, replaced battery and nothing! Tried to clean the battery terminals just in case but they are shiny as can be. Disappointed in this product when I started off very happy and excited for my first electric thermometer.

We got this as a gift to go with our Weber grill however it suddenly stopped working. Thought it was a battery problem, but replacing the battery did nothing. Very disappointing.

I have two of these thermometers and they have both failed to hold up to the Weber standards for quality . I've had one for approximately one year that the screen went blank on in about six months , which I figured was just a battery problem . I happen to have a second thermometer Hyatt was given to me as a gift so I didn't worry about going and getting a new battery for the first one . Well , the second thermometer's display decided to malfunction so I got new batteries for both thermometers and when I installed them , neither one would work . The one with the blank screen was still blank and the one with the malfunctioning display was still not working ! I really like the thermometers and used them quite often but very disappointed that they didn't last long at all .

This Instant Read Thermometer is a great tool and easy to use. If you don't realize, like I didn't, it does have a temperature reading on it when first turning it on, but does not affect it reaching the correct temperature after placing it in the food that you are testing. For the price, it is an easy to use convenient thermometer.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
