No instructions anywhere and does not appear as an ambient probe on my iGrill 2 App.

I would think this should be included with the purchase of any Bluetooth thermometer as grill temp is very important.

I purchased this product (along with the igrill mini) a while back and felt compelled to share a review. First and foremost, I haven't even used the meat probe yet; just the ambient temp of the grill. My Weber kettle grill is REALLY old, with no thermometer in lid. I use the app on my phone while grilling and I am not "stuck" sitting by the grill...EVER! Everything was easy to setup (probe to iGrill and iGrill to phone). I LOVE it when I'm doing baby back ribs. They come out perfect every time. If you purchase a Weber kettle grill that doesn't come with a thermometer, include this probe and igrill with your initial purchase and you'll be up and running. Excellent product! Thanks!

The probe is great and I very satisfied with the probe itself. There is one thing that is disappointing and that is the little bracket that attaches the probe to the grill grate. I have the stainless grate and the bracket must be designed for a different grate because the bracket does not fit well with the stainless grate. The fit is very loose and nearly useless. I would think because this component is very inexpensive a better design could be created or multiple brackets included.

Saw this ambient temperature gadget on Weber website. It was delivered and there are no direction for it. I see a cable to plug into something but what? Very poor. Perhaps I needed another Weber gadget to work this but it was not stated on the website. Help!

Absolutely crucial for monitoring the temperature while smoking food. I used my new Performer grill to smoke baby back ribs. I have traditionally used my inexpensive but effective charcoal smoker in the past but not any more. using the snake charcoal method and iGrill 2 with bot he meat probe and and ambient temperature probe I produced a perfect rack of BBQ baby back ribs, temperature control is so important in smoking and using the ambient temp probe I was able to keep the Kettle running at 225 to 240 for the requisite period of time.

I've purchased 2 of these temp probes and both have shown the same fault, they aren't reliable over ~550 degree F. anything under that temp works great, but when using the highest heat possible on my grill it stops reporting/graphing.

I received this as a gift to go with my new iThermometer and sure takes out the "guess work" when roasting on a charcoal Webber. Very accurate reading right on my smart phone.

I was excited to track my rack dry bulb temperatures. I have two racks on my smoker. Only one of the thermometers worked. The other did not register a temperature. They mark them with color coding plastic pieces that looks great at first. They all look the same black color after being used.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
