Probe works great. My concerns are why did the first one fail within a year, the other brand I have has lasted for 7 years so far. And then it took weeks to deliver

Hello! With proper care, your probe should last more than a year. Do make sure that the sensor does not come in contact with water, and please avoid flare-ups. Love the probes. Seen mixed re views but my probes work great. I can put my food on my grill and go back inside my house. The system flawlessly monitors my food and grill temperature. My grill is located outside downstairs.

The picture and the product description is misleading. I did not receive the three temperature probe sleeves as shown and as described with the product.

The Pro Ambient Probe is designed to be used with our Bluetooth thermometer iGrill units as well as the WiFi enabled Weber Connect Hub. The Ambient Probe alone can not be used as it needs to be connected to the iGrill Mini, iGrill 2, iGrill 3 or the Connect Hub. I just bought my second probe to check the temp of my Summit grill. The first one was giving me false reading early this year. I only bought it last fall! So, I purchased a replacement. Used. 2-3 times, some issue. It reads about 75-100 degrees lower. This is causing real issues.

Hello, we are very sorry to hear about this issue! You can go ahead and test the accuracy of your lid thermometer or Ambient Pro thermometer with boiling water. When inserting the tip of your probes you should be getting about 212°F +/-2°. When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
