I bought this several years ago and it has been very helpful in grilling roasts and chicken. I get timely alerts when the food is ready, and the temperatures are correct.
Just will not work as it should. Temp goes to over 500 and still putting it on the grill

Thank you for letting us know about your issue. We are sorry to learn that you have not had success using your iGrill Mini, yet. That is not what we expect to hear! It may help to perform a test on the temperature probe to ensure it's accuracy. The best way to check for accuracy of your probe is to conduct either an ice water or boiling water test. This would entail placing the probe in either a cup of ice water or a cup of boiling water. - For ice water, we would expect a temperature of: 32F, +/- 2 degrees - For boiling water, we would expect a temperature of: 212F, +/- 2 degrees We want you to be totally satisfied! I have owned this unit for several years but lately it reads about 30 or more degrees higher than the actual temperature of the meat. This makes for frustrating experiences because I cannot trust the instrument to tell me when to stop roasting.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the iGrill mini. We are so sorry to hear the thermometer is not reading accurately. We are happy to help. It sounds like you may need to perform a reset. Please follow the steps below and let us know if these tips do the trick! - Separate your device from its base and open the battery compartment rotating the battery door counterclockwise - Remove the battery for 30 seconds - Insert the battery and hold down the reset button in the battery compartment for about 5 seconds. Replace the battery door. - Open the Settings menu on your iOS device - Select Bluetooth. If there are any pairings appearing for your unit, then please select the gear icon to the right of them and then select "Forget this Device" to remove them - Open the Weber iGrill App and pair back to your device. Do not attempt to pair via your iOS Bluetooth settings. If the Smart LED on your device does not flash while holding down the reset button, please ensure that the button is being pressed down completely and that the battery is in contact with its terminals while performing the reset. I've had this product for a number of years. It has worked flawlessly. have changed the batteries once in 4 yrs. If you don't follow the shutdown procedure correctly the unit stays on and you aren't even aware of it. Next time you grill it's dead or close to it.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your iGrill mini. We are so sorry to hear your battery is going dead quickly. We are happy to help. From time to time, there may be some confusion related to the power button of the Mini device. Knowing how to properly power down your unit is imperative to extend battery life and get the most out of your thermometer. To power on the Mini, simply press the center button once, quickly. After several seconds, the ring around the power button should flash blue. If you have a probe inserted, you will see a green light instead. To power the Mini off, hold down the center button for several seconds. In this case, the ring around the center button will illuminate white. The Mini offers an auto shut-off feature only when certain conditions are met specifically. Auto Shut-Off: • Your unit will stay powered on for five minutes before automatically turning off if there is no probe installed and if it is not paired to a smart device. This would require disconnecting your unit from within the app's Device Settings screen, not just exiting the app. • Your unit will stay powered on for eight hours before automatically turning off if not paired to a smart device and if the probe is installed. Again, this would require disconnecting your unit from within the app's Device Settings screen, not just exiting the app. • Your unit will stay powered on until the battery is depleted if it is paired with a smart device, even if there is no probe connected. This would mean that even if a probe was removed, your unit was not disconnected from within the app's Device Settings screen and was still paired to the app, causing it to stay on. I got the iGrill Mini this last summer. Right from the beginning it paired with my phone and I found that the temperature readings were more accurate than the instant read thermometer I used to use. About a month ago it suddenly stopped pairing with my phone. I changed the battery and retried to pair it. Still nothing. I contacted Weber and they were great. Walked me through "resetting" the device. Under the battery cover there's a reset button. Hold the battery down and press the reset button down (I used a pen tip) for 15 seconds. It instantly paired with my phone.

This device always seems to be an issue even time we've tried to use it. Now after a few uses, it simply wont pair anymore. Battery is good, unit is flashing, but neither of our new iPhones will recognize it.

Big fan of Weber for grills. High expectations on this product unmet. Battery died, temperature not accurate. Old fashioned probe thermometer far superior, unfortunately. I want this to be better.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
