Bought this mini to go with my TREAGER GRILL/SMOKER, to set it, and forget it. Great tool especially for smoking. No more opening the lid and losing consistent temp to check your cook. BUT, i am very disappointed by the battery life. Was told it had 150 hours life, but that is WAY overrated. I get maybe a half dozen cooks before the battery requires replacing. Having to buy batteries by the dozen. Other than that, I LOVE IT.
Just wandering if there is a jumper for this temp. So that you can plug in both food temp and cavity temp at the same time? Just wandering.because the double thermostat coast to much.
I bought based on Weber name, nice but the manual is not easy to understand and web site does not give instructions. Still not sure exactly how to turn on and off. My first battery did not last a week as I think it was on the whole time.
I've had this a couple of months now, and have tried it with all different types of food including thick steaks, kabobs, and chicken, and every single time I've used it the food has been practically RAW. I could tell by the elapsed time that the food couldn't possibly be done, but because the grill was so hot I thought well maybe it's possible. I had to finish cooking beautiful Filet Mignon steaks and chicken in the microwave, and they were ruined. AVOID.
I have owned two of the I grill mini. Both worked great for a short time. Within six months neither mini would pair up. I would not water my money on another Weber product. Their customer service doesn't care. They just want to sell you another one.

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Our team has reached out to you to help assist with your iGrill Mini. Thank you.
I have used it a couple of times on large roast and they came out perfect. iPhone sync is seamless
I have had this for a year now and use it alot. Easiest thermometer to use I have ever had.
I bought a Weber in 2003 and still have it. And loving it.
I have had this for more than one year. First of all, it uses batteries quickly. Not so obvious how to turn off. I remove the battery when I am finished to make sure it is off. Second, the temperature readings bounce way up and way down, which is not possible. Right now it is telling me my pork shoulder is at 229F. My regular meat thermometer says 160F, which is what it should be at this time of the cooking. For the first year it seemed to work well (except for fast battery usage). But, the last time I used it two weeks ago I started to notice this problem and it happened again today.
My wife bought the I Grill Mini for my birthday last March and I have used it four times. Each time it took 10 to 15 minutes to pair with my cellphone bluetooth. To facilitate pairing, I would take the Mini battery out and put it back in to "reset" the Mini. Today, after taking 20 minutes to pair, I connected the probe wire to the Mini and inserted the probe into a whole chicken. The screen on my phone read "need to connect probe" even though I connected to the Mini. The Mini never gave me a temperature reading and I finally gave up and used a manual thermometer. Another problem is that the rounded rectangle on the Mini's face is very hard to read and I cannot discern the purple color that indicates if the device is ready to connect to my bluetooth. I am so dissatisfied with this product that I plan to return the Mini. This has been a very poor experience for me. Weber makes great grills and smokers, but this wireless meat themometer is a total failure.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
