Just received our grate on Sunday (03 April 22) and we used it the same day. Grilled pork chops and they turned out great. Looking forward to steaks this weekend. Why doesn't it fit my grill (2021 Genesis II -335 LP) better? There is at least 1/2 in gap on each side of grate. However, we're sure happy with our first grilling.

Fit is a little off. Surface requires some work to clean. But it does leave nice marks on your meat. Should clean it on both sides before using it again.

That it works but to me looks like it's the meat is sticking to the grate more than the original grate.

I have a Genesis and I bought the one with the SST bar grates. I love it as it can be cleaned back to the metal by doing a burn. I have the sear section, and I let the grate heat up with the burners on high. I get perfect grate marks on both sides of the steak. All the while a smoke box is running on the right side for finishing the steaks with smoke. I kept my charcoal Weber but never use it as the gas one works so darn well. I am not sure what this advertised grate would do differently, as I can get criss-crossed marks if I want by rotating the meat after the first 30 seconds. I gave it 4 stars as perhaps it helps if you don't have the setup I do. While on vacation I used the smaller Weber gas grill and it was horrible for searing (not enough heat).

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
