I have had the same experience as many other users with the newest Genesis 300 model. The round portions of the rod do not line up with the support areas/edges of the grill. This forces the rotisserie to rest/spin on the square portion of the rod. It also prevents the rotisserie from going fully into the motor. I am not sure it will last long. It does not live up to the Weber high quality standard / price. It could be fixed with a properly designed extension that is the proper length.

Easy to install and use. First chicken roasted was far better then what I have found in the grocery store. Looking forward to many more delicious meals. Highly recommend!

There are two issues: 1) rounded indents and spit doesn't line up (~1 inch short) and 2) Motor was forced raising up when split is inserted. These look like design issues. Just checked the reviews and many customers complained the same issues for the new Genesis 300 (2022 version). Contacted customer support team 3 days ago and pinged twice, no response yet.

We purchased the specified rotisserie unit for our 2022 Genesis smart grill. We have tried it with a whole chicken (2x) and with kabob attachment (2x). In all instances it seems that the motor and the spit do not line up. This causes the motor to jump during the rotation process and eventually the spit stops rotating. We have to constantly stand by the grill to realign the spit into the motor. Not convenient, to say the least. Plus, we would expect better design unit from a company such as Weber which we have always been pleased with in the past. Per other company responses to reviews, just angling the spit into the motor doesn't solve the problem. It just causes the motor to sit higher in the bracket with less stability and results in the rod stopping to rotate. Help?????

I got this rotisserie as a Father's Day gift and we put it to use right away on a whole chicken. Assembly was simple and took about 10 minutes. The spit forks work great and hold the legs and wings in close. Clean up was simple and the chicken was perfect. Another great product from Weber. Very satisfied!

The motor sits in the bracket about 1/2" below the level of the rotisserie spit. You have to raise the motor to get the spit inserted resulting in the motor being suspended about 1/2" above being seated in the bracket. The weight of the motor on the spit makes it almost impossible to remove the spit with food on it unless to lift the motor and spit simultaneously. Not very practical or safe when dealing with fire and piping hot steel.

When you start using the rotisserie, we recommend inserting the rod at an angle into the motor to get the best fit. When you are ready to remove your cooked food from the rotisserie, and any time you are handling parts on a hot grill, we recommend using a heatproof mitt. We hope that advice will help! Weber!! Your product does not work on the 2022 models. Look at your reviews! You have to redesign this and also strengthen the rod as it flexes waaay too much. This is truly unacceptable and you need to re-release a updated rotisserie or people with newer Genesis grills SHOULD NOT BUY THIS.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
