The original one had a solid bar and the mounting bracket was not so close to the side table. The new one works fine but it's not as well-designed as the original.

I bought the rotisserie because I love grilled chicken! I made a trial run with a large chicken and it turned out perfect the first run! The rotisserie worked great and the instructions from Weber were spot on for Chicken! Great purchase, now I can add another dimension to cooking on my Weber Grill!

We bought the rotisseries a month ago for our Genies 3 . we have done 5 meals off of it. we love it.

The side table must be lowered to accommodate the motor mounting. The rotisserie sits too low for even medium sized meats and suggestions to remove flavorizer bars, etc are unreasonable. Owned an older generation Weber and rotisserie that was excellent. As an engineer, I judge this design a failure and find it hard to believe this product made it through the evaluation phase.

I love my new Weber grill. I agree with several other reviewers that the rotisserie is too low in the cook box as-is. However, I have a Genesis II with three burners and resolved this issue as follows: 1) I removed the grates, 2) I removed the center "flavorizer bar", 3) I put foil over the center manifold to protect it and catch the drippings, 4) I used only the two outer burners. That gave me plenty of clearance and I cooked a large chicken quite successfully.

I bought this to fit my new 2 burner grill. My only complaint is that I loose the side table when I am using this and have to take off the motor mount in order to use the side table.

The rotisserie bracket blocks the tray table from being lifted up and placed in position. IF you want to take advantage of the tray table you have to remove the bracket each time you use the rotisserie.

I'm single and can occasionally have guests, but most of my uses will be on the smallish side and I may even be able to leave the grill grids in place. I'll have to check on clearances. The quality of the unit matches that of the grill.

Well constructed and fits great on my Genesis grill...had to return others from other companies that claimed it would fit on my model grill, but didn't. Only buy genuine Weber products.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
