Just bought my 4th Weber Genesis. I had two rotisseries from previous models neither which fit the new grill. From the other negative reviews on the rotisserie accessory it looks like it is not worth buying (again). Very disappointed in the brand.

It is a poor design, it sits too low in the carriers to allow a chicken to rotate without kitting flavorizers bars. This wasn't the case with my last WEBER genesis grill. Very disappointing

I'm using this with the genesis II I started with a chicken and it came out fine but Not as brown and crispy on the outside as I would like.if you used the spirit, I think, that has the electric Coils to brown the bird that would be better. This will still work great for a standing rib roast.

Overall good product. I do think the unit is a bit too low. When you remove the cooking grates and put a drip pan the food on the bar will hit the drip pan. I was cooking a 10 pound prime rib and I was lucky it was boneless. If I would have bought the bone in the bones would have prevented me from using the rotisserie.

The mounting side brackets are constructed with inadequate gauge mounting brackets. I was planning on rotisserieing a prime rib roast for Thanksgiving but I just couldn't trust the factory construction of this product. I'll attempt again for Xmas, but only after I replace or beef up the side brackets.

I hesitated for a good two years looking for this... it didn't seem readily available but I finally pulled the trigger this year. SO glad I did! I have used it for chicken and beef and just did our Thanksgiving turkey on it... they all turn our wonderful!

I love all my Weber Products. Roasting 2 chickens on this is easy and they turn out perfect every time. I have a Weber Genesis II - 3 burner propane grill, and this is the perfect companion. I will never buy any other product but Weber. I can always count on the Warranty, and I can always get replacement parts. Simple to assemble, simple to use, simple to maintain.

Would give zero stars if I could. Have to remove the grates and flavor bars which is messy. Tried it twice and doubt I will every use it again! Sorry I wasted my money on this.

I already have one of Weber's rotisseries, and it had forks with two prongs to hold the meat. These worked well. The new version of the rotisserie has forks with four tines instead of two. Pushing four tines into the meat from each side does more damage than necessary to the meat, particularly for chickens. So, I have ended up using either the two tined fork or the four-tined fork depending on the application. Removable tines in pairs might be useful for this product.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
