I have had no problems with my Weber Spirit gas grill except for the grates. Every two years I have to replace them due to rust. I have followed the recommended upkeep procedures but nevertheless the grates rust to the point rust is flaking off the grate. This is a real disappointment and from the reviews I've seen on line other customers are having similar issues.
Spirit 200 series. The grill is great, but the grates are far fro 'great'. Granted I live in Houston where there is humidity, but these things really rust up. I may even go with aftermarket parts since replacing them with Weber parts seems silly if they will rust again. What happened to Weber quality?
Like most of the reviews the only complaint I have is the grilles are rusting away. While I only have the Spirit and not one of the higher end Weber's I expected better performance. I've always cleaned and kept the unit covered. No excuse for the grilles to fall apart while cleaning them other than poor quality. All the companies answers indicate you will direct reviewers to a resolution, if that's does not include sending me new grilles at your expense, don't bother answering this review.
We've had our Spirit 200 series grill for almost 4 years and I am getting ready to replace the grates for a second time. This idea that they should require special care or instructions to last longer is dishonest. We have a Green Egg with a cast iron grate that is nearly 12 years old and we have never had to replace the grate. We have another small Weber that is over 10 years old also with a cast iron grate, never been replaced and still in good shape. All of these grills used equally and at both high and low heat. The "Crossbar" design is a dumb idea. It limits the flexibility in use of the grates and your customers should be able to choose which side of the grates best fit their grilling needs at the time/ The crossbar makes it more difficult to clean the grates as well. I've been a loyal Weber customer for over 30 years and I'm telling you these grates are annoying.
This is my second set of grates for my spirit grill that have rusted. This set lasted lass than 3 years. Rust is flaking off on food and not usable.
Like the majority of the other reviewers on here I too have rusted grates and "flavoriser bars" I have cleaned my grill once a month, and still have rust. Very unhappy with the parts quality.
The grates rust too fast on my Spirit grill and it's expensive to be replacing. Stainless Steel would be a much better option, please consider changing.
I've only had my grill for two years and the grates and flavorizer bars are rusted. I am disappointed to see that replacing them will cost 1/5 to 1/4 what the whole grill cost me! I would have expected these to not rust so easily and so soon. Rather disappointing when I assumed I'd get the best quality and longest life from a Weber grill, which is why I upgraded from my previous grill.
I've had a Spirit e-210 for three years. I use it 2-3 times a week from spring-fall, and I don't use it in the winter. I keep it covered at all times. I clean the porcelain grates after every use, yet they've already rusted.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.

- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).

Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
