I bought this smoker a year ago. I have used it for every holiday and in between. Having owned smokers for over 26 years, this allows the most variety of meats and vegetables. Thanksgiving 2020 was a 24lb turkey with hanging Italian sausages dripping flavor over the bird and half a salmon on another rack. I could never do that with any of my past vertical smokers. I did have a small issue but no questions asked I received a warranted part, no hassle at all. This company backs their products.
I've owned the verticals smoker from Louisiana grills since March . Pleased with the food it produces is great but my control panel display lost the top portion of the numbers on the screen . Can from the Danson company please contact me back as I have left several voicemails and have had no responses . Thank you for your time
I've had my LG vertical smoker for almost a year now, done dozens of cooks on it, and have learned its strengths and quirks. Purchased it to replace my 20 year old Traeger grill, which served me well but finally died a rather spectacular death. If you've owned or own a pellet grill, you know how much of a pain they can be to clean. This thing is WAY easier to maintain. The fire box is easy to get to... it isn't buried below a heat shield, drip tray, and grates. The glass door comes off easily for cleaning/drying and pops right back on. Grates and water pan come out easily. Some commenters have mentioned temperature control. True, the fire box probe reads higher than the temp higher up, especially when its cold outside, but you can hang the digital temp probes up on the shelves for more accurate control or add dial temp gauges like I did (yeah, I probably voided the warranty of the box, but whatever...). And yeah, it would be more convenient if the controls were up higher. But it's not that big of a pain, at least for me, having them where they are. What I REALLY like is the versatility, interior room, and consistent temp control of this unit. I can smoke salmon like lox at very low temp or crank it up and do a turkey with crispy skin, and all points in between. It's like having a big, wood fired convection oven out on my deck. It's not a grill, it's a smoker. And a better smoker than any pellet grill I've used.

Negatives: *The only way to get the cooking temp inside the cabinet to match the readout is to place your lowest shelf directly above the water pan. That's it, I've tried every possible configuration and verified it using ThermoWorks Digitals as well as Tel Tru analog gauges, they both had the same temp, wildly different from the readout. The temperature of the middle rack is 30 degrees cooler than the readout and the top position grate is 75 degrees cooler than the readout. I suppose now that I know this, I'll be able to adjust my times but it makes me wonder if the internal temperature probe placement for the readout is in the best position. *Speaking of the internal probe, be careful if you have to refill your water pan. If you splash the probe you're in for a bad afternoon. *There is no meat temperature probe wire hole like there is on my LG900. I hate having to run the wire against the door seal when closed and fumbling with it when you open the door. Not a major deal, I just really like that feature of my LG900. *I paid full price at LG's website when Costco has it for darn near half? Seriously? And don't say I should've shopped around! When have you seen an Apple product half price at Walmart vs full at the Apple store? You don't, respected companies don't do that. Now, if the Costco version is similar to a "Black Friday" quality product than fine but if it's the same thing that's b.s. Now some positives: *This is a very nice looking smoker. You hate having it covered. *Is a solidly built smoker, not one part feels cheap. Well, maybe the display but it's ok. *It takes up virtually no space at all. *Smoke is present but not overwhelming. 225 degrees is my sweet spot. Every brisket, pork butt, and even rack of ribs cooked at that temp has great texture and the smoke flavor is just right. Oh and yes, you can get the prized smoke ring. *Doesn't go through pellets as fast as my LG900. One bag seems to last for several cooks. *Love the glass door. *Design leads to very easy cleanup. So there's my $.02

So we bought this smoker a year ago. Pretty expensive smoker for only lasting 1 year. I would had given this 5 stars had it lasted longer

I bought one of these last year and it has done well. Occasionally, it will cut out on the heat, but usually kicks back in and heats up to temperature. It needs a front shelf, so when loading or unloading the grill, you have something to rest your plate / pan on.
i bought over a year ago, Its the best vertical smoker i have owned , and i have owned many smokers in the past , just set it and forget it. LOVE IT
Got mine about 6 months ago and I still love it. So easy to use. The only problem is that there are so many recipes and so little time.
My husband bought in July and has issues within first week.. company sent a replacement part and worked again for a week... and yet again having issues constantly!!! For the amount of money spent on this you'd think it'd work being brand new!! So disappointed in the product I feel like I now have a 600 dollar porch ornament because I'm too afraid of planning dinner and it either not lighting or stop working half way through cooking... this is by far the worst purchase we've ever made!!!

Had this grill just over a year. The ignitor rode has failed twice, the temp probe failed, and now it is tripping breakers. I requested replacement temp probe over 2 months ago, still nothing. I had to buy one online. Customer server is HORRIBLE. They do not return calls. They are not answering the phone because of COVID! That is a horrible reason. I don't understand why customer service can work during COVID. The warranty is a joke. Covers parts ONLY. You are expected to take apart the grill the replace them yourself. That is terrible, but to make it worse they don't send the parts that are actually under warranty. I am still waiting for the temp probe! Stay away for this junk company!

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.

30-Day Returns

No Restocking Fee
Most companies charge a restocking fee. We just don't do business that way.
