Customer Reviews
First wood pellet smoker/grill. I use is frequently. I kept the old LP gas grill to do quick cooking. But I don't need it. The Pit Boss heats up quickly. Grills great steaks. Recommend it highly. Appears well built and is fuel frugal.
We bought this a couple months ago! This is an amazing grill and we are really enjoying it. I would recommend it to anyone. We had never used a pellet grill and were worried about cooking with it but it is yet to disappoint it.
My wife and kids got the grill for me for Christmas and we love it. It does a great job cooking!
I had high hopes for this, but it just doesn't have the flavor of a smoker, or even charcoal for that matter. To me, this has as bout as much flavor as a gas grill. Other than that, the temps don't stay consistant. The Smoke setting is a joke. It has 7 "p" settings, but last time I tried to smoke on it, 190 was as high as it got. Chicken came out rubbery, and no smoke flavor at all. This was an expensive mistake. Ive had it 9 months now, and I don't like it any better than I did when I got it. I wouldn't feel right trying to sell it. I so wish I had gone with the egg smoker.
Have had this smoker for all most a yr now, All my friends have purchased my exact madel or a bigger model. Since i purchased this smoker, i havnt used my propane or charcoal grill. Everything i cook on this smoker comes out super moist and tender. Very easy to use, set ur temp and forget it, smoker does all the work for you.
I finally broke down and replaced charcoal and grass grills. My Nieghbor constantly let sample his pellet grill food and it was amazing!! I like the taller grill set up and only opportunities I see for now is a clean out hatch could be incorporated on the bottom lower half to easily vacuum out pellet hopper and a auto clean, shut down and turn off cycle would be ideal. Great food equals great times with family and friends!!
Really wasn't interested in buying a pellet grill, as I already had an electric smoker and was satisfied with it. Saw this one on sale at Walmart and couldn't resist. Boy am I glad I did. Easy set-up and trouble free, thanks to the engineer's who designed it. Makes smoking easy & trouble free.
Shopped a lot of smoker grills, and read a lot of reviews; in the end, we decided on the Pit Boss 700S and are absolutely satisfied with this decision. It's a great smoker/grill that offers everything that we were looking for, including quality, at a very good price. In fact; I believe this unit offered more total area of cooking space, higher quality, higher performance, and more features than several higher priced, well known name brand grills. Some higher priced grills have issues that the Pit Boss 700S simply does not have; such as cooking temperatures. Some makers grills are stated to struggle to reach temperatures over 400 degrees; this grill easily goes over 500-550+ degrees. It also has a great feature ("P" settings) for fine tuning the smoking of food. The two side shelves are great, and provide ample shelf space, along with the utensil hooks. Another great feature is the included grill cover that is also quality, and fits easily over the grill. We got into smoker-grills because of family having them (they actually bought more expensive, name brand grills that they spent more on than we did, and their grills are smaller, and less features than ours). Naturally we wanted everyone to try our results, and they also wanted to try them. SURPRISE! Members of their families (both families) made comments to their "GrillMasters" --"Why can't you smoke stuff that good!" We're so happy with our Pit Boss 700S.
Bought in June 17 worked great tell end of August now smokes out of hopper won't heat right fire gos out when you open it can't find anybody who works on it

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
